Im still on the fence mate. He should have achieved more with last seasons squad, there are no signs he will improve much with the squad we will realistically end up with for this season. If we were going to part ways though we should have done it at the end of last season rather than ballsing up this season. Were those Derby fans right that a new manager with this squad would do much better? They were wrong last year.
This is pretty much exactly my opinion too. I can't really see him turning things around. Likewise I can't really see someone else doing any better without some movement in the next few days.

the form lines so far this season were a concern, particularly the Coventry result
but the performance today compared to last seasons performances against Derby, who are significantly weakened themselves, well
looking at the fixtures, todays game was about the only nailed on winnable, but really i'd say Derby were probably the better team
Hughton in effect sacrificed a load of youngsters against Wolves and not one of them figured today or barely made the bench
There was a 'positive' change today, i guess, Grabban for Yates, we can't criticise as it got us a point
The main problem is we cannot get the ball up from back to front very effectively, i think we need energetic lively carriers, but so many problems with the performances.
Is it the players? Is it the formation? Is it the manager? Let's face it it's got to be at least 2 out of 3, so he has to go
The system seems to suit opposing teams far more than our players
Hughton bottled his final substitution and bottled it going for he win opting to run down the clock at the end, either way, poor game managment

I'm still on the fence as both Newcastle and Brighton were pretty good in Championship and the lads are clearly still putting it in for him if 2nd half is a barometer. Also, the much discussed lack of his own signings to work with.
On the other hand, he went for broke a bit 2nd half today and it worked, but is this going to be the way forward for him?
Still maintain if Hughton can't turn us around with his track record and respect he has within game (Would we have got Garner?) then I worry what comes next. However, it's not been working yet and it really needs to improve (as per 2nd half) sharpish.

Yeah? It was better than starting the season with no fit fullbacks! :P
It's chip paper now, though? Old news. Like a disposable Bic razor...Sabri and the 'brilliant' signings are no more. Though Mckenna aint too bad? He knows how to tear a shirt off a Derby player's back. And you can't argue with that, surely?
'Brilliant.' Getting 14 was 'brilliant.' In volume, least ways.
But hindsight proves not all of them...(well, nearly all...) worked out.
Now, imagine if I was paid to recruit instead of whoever it was last year. But at least they started with fullbacks. Not that it mattered to the start of last season either as the hindsight view is they were pretty mediocre anyways. (Though, even as a lay person, I'd have started this season with actual or better fullbacks than we had last year.)
What would we do without hindsight, eh?
