Lowe and Gabriel start

You been given a dodgy team sheet mate?

AS others have said above, today's a big day for Carvalho. He can't let us down in a situation like this. Derby are shite and if he has any remote intention of being a top player one day their team is there for the taking.

Even if our tactics are negative, when he gets the ball he should be unlocking that Derby side without a second thought.

At least with Carvalho on the pitch fans can't sing his name if we start badly!

Looks like it.

That’s what I was told by someone on the staff just before we left the City Ground.

He was right about Worrall, Gabriel and Back.

We have some passing abilty in the middle now but are we a bit lightweight physically with Johnson  Carv & Garner?

Lightweight.  Yes.  No doubt of the ability.  But Championship football is more than just having talent.

But it's what 'some' want.

We'll see if it delivers.

Bong has trained all week.  Lowe hasn't.

Expect the latter to 'guest star' later when Bong's legs start flagging or if he punches a Derby player in the face.

At some point he has to start producing (something other than excuses) his football.

I don't get this thing about 'negative' tactics.

Hughton plays counter attacking football?

He's got 5 attackers on the pitch.  Car, Zinc and Bren' included. He's finally got a 'switch' CM in Garner for more progressive play (something he didn't have in the 1st four matches.)

He also doesn't play Youth but Gabriel, Yates, Garner and Bren' are all included.

Clearly does not reward youth tho, Back has been the better rb in his last 2 games, not even in the 18, good message to send to players who do better than others
