The Reds' opening day fixture away at Coventry City has moved from Saturday, 7th August to Sunday, 8th August with a kick-off time of 4.30pm.

It will be the first time The Reds have travelled to the Ricoh Arena since 2011, with last season's away fixture being played at Birmingham City's St Andrew's Stadium.

The East Midlands derby against Derby County at Pride Park has also been moved, kicking-off at the earlier time of 12.30pm on the originally planned date of Saturday, 28 August.

The Reds are the current holders of The Brian Clough Trophy following a 1-1 draw at Pride Park last season.

Both games will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Thanks Sky. I will have to miss the second half now, as I am at work on the Sunday night  :@ :@ :@

At least we wont be bottom of the league come 5.00pm Saturday night, not unless every other match ends in a draw

The Villa game’s a behind closed door training ground job, but hopefully Burnley at home there shouldn’t be any reason why not by then??
