Karim Ansarifard
If he has signed what’s to stop him training with the club whilst the paperwork is being sorted? Frustrating that, once the transfer is confirmed, we will have to wait another month or so whilst he gets himself up to speed.

No idea TPL. I am just telling you what people tell me. I have friends in the Greek Sports Media and they told me he has signed.  I think even Karim himself said the same thing yesterday didn't he on Iranian TV or something.

According to the video update from the Post yesterday it could still take up to a couple of weeks before it's done. Which is bizarre as, as SD said above, Karim has given interviews saying that he's signed.

All very strange.

I guess we can write this lad off for a couple of months...getting upto speed fitness wise etc.

wonder will Jacob or the new greek lad make the squad tonight.

Paul Taylor also said in not rush to get the deal done... In same interview said Murphy and Soudani injured again, and hoping Grabban can find his form and grab a goal (and hope his Achilles keep intact).

So I do think we are in a rush to have other options up front. Be interesting to see if Appiah or Gomis on bench tonight or Karanka goes with no striker on bench again.

I cant belive this is going to happen - its gone on far too long. There must be somebody else available and ready to do the job. Lets move on .Any body agree with me.

There may well be other free agents out there but I'm sure this will still happen. There's no way that Marinakis would've had a player who scored 18 goals for Olympiacos last season terminate his contract for any other reason than to come to Forest. Whether it's the Football League satisfying themselves that there's nothing shifty about the deal, or a hold up with international clearance or whatever, I still think this will happen.

It'd be nice to see one of Appiah or Gomis on the bench tonight Widdow for the exact reason you've given.

We wouldn't be able to recall him until January at the earliest.

And, with respect to him, with the exception of about two matches, he hasn't looked good enough for the Championship. I'm not sure he ever will be.

Well he hasn’t given either a chance on bench.

heard we are in for another striker as the club aren't happy about how long this is taking.

What's the hold up then? The player himself has said he's signed, but the club clearly think otherwise.
