We have been linked with him before.
Can see it make sense if Oly want to get rid, and we need a forward.

Sounds like that, but given the injuries the club probably haven't been given much choice in the market.

To be fair Jock he only started 8 matches
To be honest he has done well in Greece the last 2 years for Panionios and Olympiakos.

I very much doubt that's what happened. You only have to look at Brereton's parting tweet to see that he wanted out. We've been linked with other targets, for whatever reason we either can't or won't make them happen. This guy might not be the only arrival today anyway - and that's presuming he does arrive.
