IMO rather than commenting on the employment of individuals at Forest, The Athletic should be doing some digging into what's happening at Pride Park. We might think it's all very amusing, but it's clear from anyone looking in there that something has gone real sour in that club and as far as I can see, their fans are completely oblivious to it as their owner is 'Derby through and through'.

I notice that Alfreton are again selling live coverage of tonight’s U23 match ( against Coventry ) for £3.99.

Can’t help thinking - and I’m not having a pop - that the club is missing a trick here. Make it available to season card holders for free or for a nominal amount ( to cover costs ).

I’m sure that in these tough times a few thousand would tune in to ‘run the rule’ over our talented youngsters.

They've written loads about the takeover and it makes for pretty grim reading for a football fan.
