It really really is not unusual for people who own/run companies to look after their family members by offering jobs, work placements, etc etc. I've done it, I know lots of others too who have done it. What is unusual is for an award winning sports journalist to be interested in reporting such things, or thinking that the fans of a club in real crisis, say, Wigan athletic, would prefer to read such things rather than what's going on a their club.

Let's be clear, this is just another attempt by Taylor to harm Vrentroz.

Kyriakos Dourekas, the director of football, is also keeping it in the family. Dourekas, regarded as the eyes and ears for Marinakis at the training ground, has been joined by his son in the analysis department.

Forest say they are voluntary and unpaid roles.

Whilst I get the 'keep it in the family' argument and the 'voluntary and unpaid roles' sounds very chivalrous, I can't quite get my head around why anybody would uproot from their nice sunny home life to work for free in a freezing cold England. And if a thick Basford lad is having those kinds of thoughts, you can rest assured those jolly gentlemen down at the EFL will also be making similar types of thoughts.  It doesn't add up.

But, if it is true and he is doing it for nowt, then good luck to him. I am sure the facilities used in Greece are way better than anything anyone in this country has come across before, so his experience will be most welcome  :dodgy:

We know absolutely nothing about what's going on. Is this guy another Fawaz type who went from running his own restaurant to being CFO, or is he an experienced pro who has run pro sport facilities before? I dont know, you don't know, Taylor doesn't know.

It wasn't Taylor who reported it, it was David Ornstein.

Yes, David Ornstein of the The Athletic.

It wasn’t Danny Taylor - but let’s not waste the opportunity of sticking the boot in.

Unbelievable !

Yes but Taylor retweeted it straight away.

And why wouldn’t he?

Because it's not newsworthy. Well it is if you only want to tweet or write silly petty negative things all the time.

We have one defeat in eleven games, we had a good January window, we have a very good manager. Lets talk about that.

If it ain’t newsworthy why the interest?

Why the defence on here? ( just ignore it if it’s not worthy )

Why the significant interest on social media?

If it’s not newsworthy...

And I don’t recall David Ornstein tweeting ‘silly petty negative things all the time’

No Sniff, let's talk about a Greek bloke the club have just hired who orders light bulbs, gets the boiler serviced on time and who sorts the security guard rota out.

We are talking about it Sniff.

Doesn’t make this of any less interest - whether you approve or not.
