Yeah that's what I mean, not managed anyone since. I never said he wasn't a decent sporting director (I've no idea whether he's done a good job or not at Palace in that respect) I know he did well at bringing in a load of players on 10k wages when here which was impressive work. You could say the same about the business of another ex player/manager too though but you wouldn't want him as manager again!

I would happily have either back in that sporting director role if they were interested.

Forest have appointed a new Head of Sports Science. A chap called Tom Barnden who worked with Hughton previously at Brighton as Strength and Conditioning Coach.

I can firmly see why CH has bought him in.

I can’t recall seeing our players being in such poor condition from a fitness perspective.

We started pre-season later than everybody and have never caught up

Although TBH he did start at end of Nov !
