Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager
We are very lucky to have Hughton here.

another take on it is that Hughton isn't really a lucky manager, it's been pure roll ya sleeves up and keep at it type stuff based on building on his core beliefs which bodes even better for the long term

if anything he is due some luck which will only add to the points haul

i think the players will buy in even more into doing the thankless unsung hero type stuff more willingly and effectively

i also think that winning games in many ways is far less exhausting on everyone than battling losses so the players will feel much fresher and more fired up for the next game

Can't argue with that.

He will get us sorted. Unspectacular methodical approach. Calm head. Experienced and respected universally in the game. Has an interesting group supporting him and knows the league. Give him another 2.5 seasons at least...

He's being honest as he can be and diplomatic.

I find his style refreshing. And he'll give it to you straight.

Unspectacular? I found Aitor and Sabri's interviews tedious and difficult to get through.

I like Hughton's Italian Job style approach.

Forest have been a basket case for so long and erratic...I find the surgical patience of Hughton very soothing.

This guy has Championship and Premiership 'does what it says in the tin.'

You make him sound like Megson!

to be fair most of the managers, i'd say all the managers back to Pearce, have been really decent fella's with high integrity and really wanting to succeed

full credit to Chris Hughton for sticking out a 30 minute interview with questions from numerous journalists especially off the back of a defeat when combined with cards and injuries and anxieties, definately, i'm no expert but most interviews are around 5 minutes?

I will give him 10/10 for speaking predominantly pre match about Swansea but after 30 minutes he hasn't really revealed any game plan or who will be playing except to say that he might need Sow due to other injuries and Blackett (why ask about Blackett?)  probably in the squad

In hindsight the total void was seemingly, absolutely no mention of Freeman?

I too found it strange that none of the reporters asked about Freeman. I would also have wanted to learn if CH would potentially use Soh in midfield again.

Not sure where best to put this but thought as he talks about Lincoln’s manager being “better” than ours, I thought it would go here.

So someone on Twitter just tweeted David Johnson to say that Lincoln would beat us right now.

DJ’s response…

“They have a better manager who gets the best out of his players. They have a great team spirit and work ethic. They play with great intensity and good brand of football .They pace and power all over the field and the team is playing with plenty of confidence ( on a 0 budget )”

A few things, I think this is DJ (he’s followed by Daniel Taylor), but how is this helpful at all? His lad is contracted to us & he’s sticking the boot in after a shocker of a performance / day.

I’ve supported Daniel Taylor when he’s put out articles challenging the club, but he’s a journalist & it’s his job. But I think Johnson’s tweet is disrespectful to Hughton & worrying to me as I’d hoped Brennan would be back next season after a successful loan away. Doesn’t seem like his Dad will be encouraging that…

Maybe I’m just frustrated after yet another disappointing afternoon this season, but when even for own fans are tweeting DJ to ask why Brennan would come back to us, yet again it's another behind the scenes concern.
