Brentford H - draw
Sheff Wed H - win
Millwall A - draw
Brum H - win
Stoke A - draw
Preston A - lose
Millwall H - win
Boro H - draw
Cov A - win
Barnsley H - win

19 points, should have us back in midtable and we can start getting ready for next season.

Ten games is too far ahead to look to at this stage, I probably wouldn't look beyond the Preston game at the moment at which point the transfer window reopens and we can see what intent Vrentos and Marinakis have to bring in the quality to compete.

Brentford H - LOSE
Sheff Wed H - DRAW
Millwall A - DRAW
Brum H - DRAW
Stoke A - LOSE
Preston A - LOSE

I think 3 points from a possible 15 is more likely unless someone like Grabban, Knocks, Lolley or Freeman turn water into wine.

I said elsewhere that the aim needed to be seven points minimum from Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall and Birmingham.

It’s going to be tough on Saturday but a similar performance to tonight and a minimum of a point is do-able.

Nice to see we're already both wrong after two games!  :D

We are three points further on than I expected us to be in this most recent run of games but 6 from 15 is still not good enough.

Must not lose against PNE

Three points less than my optimistic prediction, mainly let down by that Brum game. Don't worry I had us losing to Preston then winning the next few!

We'll beat PNE and take it from there

They're in decent-ish form in December after a woeful start, I hope you're right.

Top of the bottom six. Another league win would put Forest lower mid table.

Sow. Talismanic.

You were spot on Wassy with the points haul from that run of games

Ha yeah I thought that although most of the actual results were wrong!

Pressure is on now though, I had us getting 10 points out of the next 4 games!

Bored to be back working today and just had a thought. If Boris announces a really strict lockdown and the football is cancelled again, where would we be in the league if final placings were calculated on a points per game basis? Answer:

19=. Sheff Wed 0.95*
19=. Forest 0.95
21. QPR 0.95
22. Sheep 0.86
23. Rotherham 0.8
24. Wycombe 0.65

*6 point deduction pro-rated out over 46 games.

If we had drawn on Saturday and not won our total would have been 0.91, so clinging on to 21st place!

I say we cancel now. It would be fair, as mostly each club will have played each other club just the once.

not thought about this but crikey, it could realistically happen, could explain formerly and present lower placed sides pulling off more than a few shock results
