Next Few Games
You may well be right Sniff.
We need to weed a few out.
Just need to add a couple of quality players.
Not fussed about Freeman - not sure we can send him back though?
Grabbs? Might get a few quid - depends on quality of replacement.

I can definitely see Grabban wanting out in January. Something's not right with him. I'm praying the issue is/was that he was playing injured and that this lay off will sort that and we'll get the good Grabban back, but I sense he's lost interest and is seeking a move away. He's never been appreciated here by the fans which is a travesty imo.

Assume this is just coming from the rumours of him leaving?

He did go through a pretty awful run of form with regards to missing chances. Hopefully the break will have refreshed him as we do miss his off the ball and holdup work.

I was applauding when Taylor was subbed off last night. He's just simply no good playing that isolated role that Grabban excelled in last year. He needs players around him, half chances, crosses going into him. We can't provide that at the moment.

I think there are mitigating circumstances in that he's not really getting much support from elsewhere. You're right though, I think I want him to do well and he looks a good finisher but his holdup play isn't there. Guerroro showed him up on that too.

He also has played a lot of minutes lately and looks tired too. He put much more of a shift in during the early games. He's missed chances recently though, almost trying too hard to score sometimes

Brentford H - draw
Sheff Wed H - win
Millwall A - draw
Brum H - win
Stoke A - draw
Preston A - lose
Millwall H - win
Boro H - draw
Cov A - win
Barnsley H - win

19 points, should have us back in midtable and we can start getting ready for next season.

Ten games is too far ahead to look to at this stage, I probably wouldn't look beyond the Preston game at the moment at which point the transfer window reopens and we can see what intent Vrentos and Marinakis have to bring in the quality to compete.

Brentford H - LOSE
Sheff Wed H - DRAW
Millwall A - DRAW
Brum H - DRAW
Stoke A - LOSE
Preston A - LOSE

I think 3 points from a possible 15 is more likely unless someone like Grabban, Knocks, Lolley or Freeman turn water into wine.

Well, pretty big next few games for CH now. Sheff wed, Millwall and brum, Karanka on boxing day to deal the critical blow?

Going to be harder to defend if we were to lose all these games

Unfortunately our failure to accumulate points over the last six has made the next run of games pretty desperate

I'd take a few clean sheets now.

Yep, stop the rot. Get a 0-0. Take a small step forward and build from there. Id take nil nil on Tuesday.

0-0 against Wed not enough for me. Score draw maybe, but a the moment this is a relegation 6 pointer and needs to be won.
We will not get out of the shit with 0-0s we need to start scoring goals.

Will Boxing Day be the end of CH's reign at the club if we don't start picking up points?
