I think everyone should read the article and make their own judgements on what he says.

For some balance, he does offer a number of positives about Vrentzos. He praises his attempts to change this season and his financial acumen and as well as the excellent fee he got for Matty Cash and his ability to sign players when requested.

Separately, you can call some of it heresay if you want but the points about Watson and Sabri not being given a farewell announcement are completely true.

Agree and agree. Why didn't he publish yesterday? The players will be reading this today as they rest up. It might only be a small consideration to them but I know for sure it'll definitely do no good.

Not sure what Taylor's motive is but what he is doing doesn't sit right with me.

I don't recall him doing this type of thing when Fawaz was in charge but then again he wasn't working behind a subscription wall fee then.

Maybe, with the benefit of hindsight, he regrets not being more vocal when Fawaz was here, damaging something that he feels strongly about?

Also, he is on record to say his then employer (The Guardian?) wasn't interested in Forest related pieces, whereas The Athletic want content in volume and quality.

I did find the lack of acknowledgement toward Watson particularly odd.

I didnt like it, to me it felt like they just didn't want to admit their inability to keep him. Not really a big deal but doesn't look great really

Christ we are clutcing at straws now. There are people out there with real problems.

What will it be next? Nottingham Forest players are upset because Vrentzos didn't say good morning to them writes Danny Taylor.

For the record I'm certain that both Lamouchi and Watson were both acknowledged on a personal level.

On its own, not a big deal sure although a bit odd. Just adds more fuel to the fire though and certainly can't be accused of heresay.

I couldn't really give a toss about sentimental goodbye's in terms of politeness etc, but at the time I did think that the Lamouchi statement was a bit abrupt. Because for me it's just a reflection of the merc "everyone's a number" culture that is at the club.

Simply put, I don't think we'll get up that way, as we don't have the financial muscle to buy top mercs. I think our best bet is to motivate & inspire to get the best out the mostly average players which we are limited to.

I'd love the top brass to create a real family, "together" culture at the club. And the way we operate, such as constantly cycling players, doesn't do that IMO.

Will it improve relations between the players and the club? No. Will it make CH's job easier? No. Will it make a win tonight more likely? No. Will it make yhe club nore attractive to potential new signings? No.

Will it generally create more unease among fans,  players,  staff,  sponsers? Yes. If he's such a big forest fan why run the story?

What about a Forest fan with a planet sized ego?

It is a whole load of gossip and hearsay aimed at destroying Vrentzos, for some reason.

Sadly, it isn’t that simple. EM is the man responsible for everything that happens at the club. Taylor can’t attack Vrentzos and assume that if he gets his own way the guy will be gone and that will be that.

You realise the irony of this is what you're saying here is arguably even more heresay. You're accusing a guy of having a massive ego and making stuff up. Based on any evidence whatsoever?

I have read the said relevant article and found it very boring and poorly written and took it as a rant from a guy with a chip on his shoulder,I can’t see it helping our team at all
