Guer was the lower link of the two. Impressed by him. What we've missed for ages. Nice to have two forwards working their nuts off.
Forest seem far more compact and quicker to go forward under Hughton.

He's certainly made a big difference so far (CH) from where we were to where we are is a really promising start. The December schedule certainly shouldnt worry us in terms of squad. Grabban and Worrall in particular to add strength. Grabbs off the bench is a great option as he eases back to fitness (and form hopefully).
As you say it definitely wasn't a flat two. It never has been has it? Woodcock and Withe, Birtles and Clough, Chapman and Clough, Sheringham and Clough (who both dropped off at times), Collymore and Roy, Campbell and Hooydonk.
Dougie and Shipperley were pretty flat though.?
Good post.
Forest have a fine tradition of strikers who have played successfully in this way. Some classic combos you list.

He plays with his head up he has more pace, he actually jumps for headers and doesn’t sulk.
Grabban sub at best now.
Lyles goal was terrific. Ran at pace vs Wyc's defs. Goal. Pick that out.
Plays with a smile on his face.
Forest look reborn up front.
Grabban may have peaked. Good to have off the bench.
Lyle and Guer do loads more for the team. Hold up play. Nuisance factor.
What forest have been missing.

I agree, Taylor is my number 1. We have been in desperate need for better hold up play. I think he will score lots of goals this season, plus help the team around him.
However, to be fair to Grabban he is good (better) at getting into the box when it matters. Let's not write him off just yet.

The only way to get him hitting the target is the pressure to regain his spot, he can’t be wasteful anymore cus Taylor won’t want to give up being the starter. Is there anyway we could play all 3 in the final 20 mins if needed or wouldn’t it work?

442 diamond or 3512 with Guerrero tucked in behind

3512 is 1 too many players :)
but all 3 could work if chasing game final mins. It does depend on Grabban though. Taylor and Guerrero were actively trying to involve each other, Grabban would need to aswell.

Now it is time to build on it.
We missed you in the Predictions League MR.
I hope the move went ok mate
I know I've not even done my predictions, I'll be back for the next round.
The move went very well thanks mate, very stressful in covid times and a 7 month pregnant mrs. But we have now settled.

Thanks tricky/sniffer, she is now very happy and relaxed at home, she is also happy it is an international break so she can settle in before forest takes over the TV again.
