Knock' and Arter should have had a goal each.

Taylor's pace gave us another option to try through balls, I thought his all round play was excellent and held it up well too.
There's still a few players looking for form, knockeart figs, Christie and Freeman the main ones. Once they find too gear I think we have the making of a good side. More than happy with CH after what had gone before since Feb.

It was clear on the EFL highlights that Guer was dropping off Lyle.
Lyle's 2nd was a beaut. Ran at their defence. Guer and Christie providers. SA.

A combination of confidence and fitness.
Fitness will feed the confidence. Some of these players haven't had a lot of football. When they're up to speed... SA.

I'm taking it we played well yesterday then? I have been a little occupied this last week with the stress of a house move. Things look brighter after a couple of wins. Lost 1 in 7 under hughton. He has done what he said he would do first and stop the rot.
Now it is time to build on it.

I hope the move went ok mate

The one game CH tried 4-4-2 was against Derby and it didn’t work. Definitely played 2 up top as CH said himself. Don't really care though as a wise man once said. "Players win games not formations" and our players won. I guess all the modern football fans would say one of our greatest modern Number 9's was actually a number 10 (Nigel Clough) and Bryan Roy, our number 22 was a number 10. One Centre Forward has played with his back to goal, dropping off etc since time began...or since Sir Alfs wingless wonders at the very least. Or am I just getting old?

It wasn't a flat two.
Guer was the lower link of the two. Impressed by him. What we've missed for ages. Nice to have two forwards working their nuts off. Forest seem far more compact and quicker to go forward under Hughton. SA.

The December schedule certainly shouldnt worry us in terms of squad. Grabban and Worrall in particular to add strength. Grabbs off the bench is a great option as he eases back to fitness (and form hopefully). As you say it definitely wasn't a flat two. It never has been has it? Woodcock and Withe, Birtles and Clough, Chapman and Clough, Sheringham and Clough (who both dropped off at times), Collymore and Roy, Campbell and Hooydonk. Dougie and Shipperley were pretty flat though.?

Like I said pre-season only a matter of time before Taylor became main man, he is better than Grabban in all aspects of his game for me.
He plays with his head up he has more pace, he actually jumps for headers and doesn’t sulk. Grabban sub at best now.
