That was the reason the accounts needed to be submitted by 31st Dec, to enable any punishment to be made this season.
However, it is possible that the closure of the matter and the final decision could take until 1 week after the end of the season !

Seems like EM and Forest are adamant that we are not guilty.

Being charged and being guilty are 2 different matters completely,.

It's the oliver Burke reserves that we need to tap in to.

I think there's about £37.40 of the Assombalonga money tied up somewhere also

Nottingham Forest acknowledges the statement from the PL confirming that the club has today been charged with a breach of the league’s PSR. Club intends to continue to cooperate fully with the PL on this & are confident of a speedy + fair resolution

Sounds like we have kind of said, yeah but on the Johnson thing and it'll be resolved

Seems like that did it lots of chatter now with journos confirming it but not what actually has been breached/by how much and why nor has the club released anything it selves on Twitter

I’m not worried about relegation. What I’m worried about is the potential impact on next season. Seems the financial restrictions are getting ever tighter on the non-Sky 6 clubs. So how mu ch could this affect us financially for future accounting periods?

If we get fined, does that count towards FFP?

And then it’s about £2.2million per finishing position. So the difference between 12th and 17th is £11mio.

Unless we get a huge points penalty / injury crisis I think we stay up, but I fear nevertheless it could have a knock-on impact on our finances - which the cynic would say is intended to keep ambitious clubs without European revenue in their place.

The timeline says hearing by 5 April with outcome by 12 April. Is there the chance do you think that hearings and outcome could be done quicker?
