Joint qualified accountant and lawyer actually.

Retired.

And if Willdared’s comment included me, though I fail to see the relevance, for the record, the last game I went to was Newcastle away on Boxing Day.
Just tongue in cheek from me regarding the mess we see ourselves in..

As I've said before not surprised if they spent big and genuinely thought it would just be a fine of sorts once caught/charged. That is until the Everton penalty happened

I think I now see what you were trying to say- my bad!
I really would still hope that despite the spending we had kept to the limits (or so we thought) and not blown that intentionally thinking it didn’t matter as we would only get a slapped wrist.
That’s why I think it’s an interpretative debate between us and the PL - if at all.

Otherwise, there will be heads rolling again when EM swings the axe?!

I know it probably won't mean much, I was reading the Telegraph's article from last night and they said sources close to Forest and Everton say that they have been told nothing about potential charge and that both clubs maintain that they are within the limits.

Nobody knows that. We haven't even been charged yet and if/when we are then we will still have a wait to find out any punishment.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

Not really. Over the course of many years of using forums i'd say most certainly not.

When all is said and done is anyone really surprised that it has come to this. We have spent and spent since being promoted. It was always going to catch up with us. We needed players in and we did it whilst wasting a bucket load of money. There will be no one person to blame. We have to suck it up and get on.
Spending in excess of £200 million in a year with limited income was only ever going to land is in trouble.
Just like politics.... The rich get richer and everyone else gets screwed.
