The council waiting for Forest to resubmit

Not sure about this but isn't there going to be a change of council?

Thought I read somewhere that The Tories have ousted Labour in Nottingham.

Just a thought.

Yes Ben Bradley is the new Conservative leader of the council. He was Mansfield MP.

So this changes things then?

EM and Co now have new people to negotiate with?

That's Nottinghamshire County Council rather than Nottingham City Council. Not sure if anything has changed in Rushcliffe Borough but presumably Notts CC have to have some input too (that's county council, not cricket club).

Some straw clutching.

Changes nothing, wrong council, that’s always been conservative. See the planning permission link I posted.

Nobody is straw clutching Widdow we are just chatting about things. Can we do that without trying to prove who is right and who is wrong all the time

Nobody is clutching anything, just chatting Widdow.
I won’t be reading any links you put on until you admit you’re Danny Taylor.

Widdow's right chaps. The application is being determined by Rushcliffe, not Nottm City or Notts County Council. And he's right to say the ball's in the club's court at the moment. If it were the council that is stalling then the club will have likely appealed by now. We don't know exactly what's going on but it's likely that the amended scheme, like the first, has not been received well and a request has been made to amend it again. That will likely involve the club shelling out for new designs. If no new designs are forthcoming then the council is at liberty to refuse the application but that's in no ones intertest really so the thing is just sitting there in the long grass atm until the club move it on again. That takes me back to my point the other day - no likelihood of prem football, no income at the moment, what's the rush?

Of the 2 off the pitch issues, the new stand and Cat 1 academy status and new infrastructure needed for that, I would prefer them to focus on the academy to be honest.

Technically he still is! Trying to do both full time jobs and get both full time wages the lil Tory shit

On another note on the planning website the last document was a letter from Oct 2020 agreeing to a 3 month extension to the process but nothing more has been added. I can dig a bit on the boroughs website see if I can find anything from this years minutes and planning committees
