So like I said earlier they have asked for more documents to be submitted again. The club is doing nothing wrong at all and RBC keep asking for more at every deadline.

To be fair I have waited 4.5 years for a straightforward extension to my business premises. First spade went in the ground today! Extra Covid paperwork is immense and transportation through residential areas had to be cleared with each objection raised covered. Very complex and not the clubs fault in my opinion

Thats an interesting point you have raised there Ozzy. There is going to be some serious steel being transported onto the building site for both the stand and the residential complex. Those articulated lorries are going to have to swing very wide just off Trent Bridge to get down Pavilion Road with 44 tonnes of steel on a 45 foot tri-axle flatbed to navigate into the area. Sure, it is not hard to do, but it is something worth bearing in mind and RBC will want to know exactly how the building supplies are going to get into the area with as little impact to the rest of the area and residents as possible. Those steel girders may overhang the trailer considerably for one thing, which has to be taken into account when turning into the road.
From a drivers point of view, I would say the easiest way of getting to the site would be by turning right onto Pavilion Road from Radcliffe Road, then turning right into the ground, although, the gates do need to be demolished first!

Transportation data.
Just walking to and from Forest on match day it can get rammed with traffic in that area.
Adding more residential flats. Good luck to those that live there.

Dont get excited seeing this thread bumped, nothing new!
Just noticed that there is a plan to bid for the 2030 world cup. Wondered if there was potential that Nottingham could be a venue with planned stadium expansion? Would have some stiff competition from Leicester though and they have their own plans to expand. You could also argue the sheep dip is at a more convenient if totally soulless venue.
It may however persuade the council to pull their fingers out if they thought they could bring the world cup here with the financial rewards and ego boost it would bring. Thankfully plans to move us to a farmers field in Gamston wont happen this time. But it might just focus a few minds with regard to progress of he planning application.

You are correct Pap, whether we like it or not Leicester are higher profile than us now. In addition their current stadium is brand new and can be expanded further. We may develop the PT stand and even the Bridgford End but it leaves the BC stand built over 40 years ago and the Trent End 30 years. I think the BC stand doesnt even meet UEFA safety standards? Dont know how feasible it is to upgrade it.
Having said all of that Nottingham should still at least aim to be a potential venue
