Yes we were poor in those games, just saying that after that there were some very good performances vs Arsenal, Ferencvaros and Place. Brentford and West Ham we won, pretty or not. Wolves not scoring woth 35 shots wasn't Dyches fault.
Player power got him sacked and I don’t like it.

In Dyches last 9 games the only really poor performance was vs Leeds and they duff up a lot of teams. Other than that it was Braga and Wrexham where we rotated heavily. The other 6 games he either got results or we played reasonably well.
All irrelevant now, just wonder how we will feel if Vitor does take us down. He has taken 3 points from his last 16 PL games, doesn’t fill me with optimism.
That's where a few of us have been coming from, Dyche wasn't the messiah, certainly not going to stay beyond the season but he'd have kept us up.

I don't think the first team have ever got over losing Nuno. And when you add to that the fact that a number of our top players have the ear of marinakis then that is a recipe for disaster. Rather than accept the manager like professionals they can now go above his head straight to marinakis. A bad performance doesn't become the players to own - it's the managers fault - it's his style or his man management or his tactics. They have too much licence and it worries me. They have essentially a get out of jail free card by simply saying they don't like the manager. And at the end the players are assets while the manager is expendable.
To be honest I don't know what happens if we drop into the bottom 3 - do we try our 5th manager... It's ridiculous that we are in this situation and feels completely self inflicted. As much as dyche was an uninspiring choice, had the players just accepted it then I think he would have done enough. I don't buy this whole idea that we would have been relegated under his management... And if that's based on players downing tools then some of these players need to start taking some responsibility.

Plenty of blame to go around.
The players have been awful all season. Lately players we've come to count on have regressed. Murillo had his worst game in a Forest shirt. Neco has been so reliable but since the Palace c**k-up, not so much.
We look out of ideas as well. Instead of getting the ball early to our wingers and giving them support in the channels or overlap, we walked it to midfield, passed to a midfielder and they hit it backward first time, then we hoof it forward and possession is lost. Sangare has been great this season but just once I'd like to see him take the ball on the turn. There's just no dynamic play and in the final third most of our players couldn't kick it in the ocean from the beach.
But more than that, I question their commitment and their manhood. Gutless, the lot of them.
It is also painfully apparent that recruitment was terrible. Blame who you will. I'm all for giving new players time but we don't have that luxury. What do we do? Hope Bakwa & Ndoye come good in the Championship? Every time we've had to rotate or just go to the bench, they've accomplished the square root of f.a.
Europe has been another reason for our demise this season. The squad simply doesn't have the quality in depth we need to compete in both the league & Europe. Again recruitment.
Finally, blame anyone or multiple people who run this club. A series of horrible decisions has led to this beginning with whatever the hell that was between Nuno and EM after the Leicester game. No matter what was going on behind the scenes, it was juvenile and never should have happened. Things went rapidly downhill after that and we are now where we are.
We can still salvage this but despite all the screwups, it now rests squarely with the players. God help us.

I think I’m now at the point of apathy. I’m struggling to even be annoyed at the results any more, which is a bit sad. There’s only so many times you can keep faith and then be let down week after week. There aren’t many players from this current squad that I would miss if we go down and that list is diminishing after recent performances.

Do you think if anybody at the club or players read these forums and could understand the thoughts of the fans, if so do they care or just brush all under the carpet. Most know if we go down they will not be at the club and be sold by the club so they also get a nice payday as a precentage of the fee as it would not be a transfer request, so just go through the paces until the end of the season for some?

Nah, sorry but no player wants a relegation on their CV
You are not thinking straight !
Milenkovic sulks after losing a game of table tennis ! Yates, MGW, Anderson etc won’t take anything lying down.
Don’t mistake poor form and lack of confidence, as a lack of effort.
I can tell you that if we go down it won’t be because they have tossed it off.
NO CHANCE

After City we have 8 days until next game.
A few days off and then 5/6 days to be able to do some proper work with VP
This will be his only chance to hopefully get some coaching into them.

This team is certainly not too good to go down.
Is it good enough to stay up ?
