NFFC Supporters Trust are requesting as many people as possible write to Rushcliffe council backing the planning application. You can of course write yourself but they have preprepared an email I have copied below which you can send.

Dear Planning Department,
I am writing to express my fervent support for the redevelopment of the City Ground via planning applications 25/02123/FUL and 25/02122/OUT. It is essential that both applications are approved to ensure the club can deliver a world class stadium that meets the overwhelming demand for professional football in Nottingham. Currently, thousands of supporters are locked out of the ground every week due to capacity constraints. This is particularly detrimental to our younger fans, many of whom are being denied the opportunity to build a lifelong connection with their local club. Increasing the capacity to 52,500 is not just an ambition; it is a necessity to ensure the club remains sustainable and competitive alongside national and international rivals.
From a planning perspective, the proposed scheme offers significant material benefits. The redevelopment will act as a catalyst for the regeneration of the River Trent waterfront, transforming it into a premier destination for residents and visitors alike. The application includes notable landscaping improvements which will drastically enhance the public realm and biodiversity of the site. This high quality landscaping, combined with the iconic architectural design, ensures that the scale and massing of the new stands will integrate sensitively into the local environment while providing a bold statement of regional confidence.
The economic impact of these proposals cannot be overstated. By attracting larger crowds and providing modern facilities, the development will generate substantial footfall for local businesses in West Bridgford and the wider city. This project is a cornerstone of the Regional Mayor's Trent Sports Quarter initiative and aligns perfectly with local planning policies regarding economic growth and social wellbeing. Keeping the club at its spiritual home ensures the preservation of an irreplaceable cultural asset while delivering modern infrastructure that the whole community can take pride in. I strongly encourage the council to approve both applications without delay to ensure this golden opportunity of significant inward investment is not missed.
Yours faithfully,
