If I took the stick he took at one extended point, then got the plaudits he is now getting at work. I'd be off in a shot at 1st sign of a better offer. (Except if I was working at NFFC of course). 

I still maintain though that it was a small minority of very "vocal," keyboard warriors. Apart from when whole ground was toxic at start of season- then they all copped it.

Hopefully Ryan is feeling the love across the board now.

There's a difference between criticism or discussion on a forum and actively booing his appearance on the field. 

Personally, I felt he had too many weaknesses and had a lot to coach out of him. I think there were plenty of times where he struggled to hold down a place in the team and the debate over whether he played was fair.

He was/is a frustrating player that looks like he really could be a top player and his heading ability had also been wasted until recently. How often have we all said how many headed goals he could/should have scored in the last few years.

He's clearly stepped up a level this year (as have all really under Cooper) and has cut down on some of the most frustrating aspects of his game. If he continues in that manner then he will be class for us in the next few years.

To summarise then are you admitting you were wrong? Or are you Boris?

Young player gets better...

Not every young player gets better though. 

He had/has some weaknesses that personally I felt meant he shouldn't be in the team at the time. That's different to suggesting he would never make it or could never make it.

There are more camps that just Yates is good, Yates is bad. 

To.summarise he wasn't good enough, he is now, he could get even better. That OK?
