I've never doubted Taylor's commitment or professionalism

I don't think i have ever criticised him but I can understand that when we have been as bad as we were for as long as we were fans have a need to point the finger and quite alot no doubt came Taylors way, similar with many in the squad, but Grabban, Lolley, Taylor, Bong!, Brice whoever but maybe these primarily but in my opinion unjustly, particularly regrding Taylor

Sabri for his last 20 games and Hughton for virtually all his games had no belief in actually scoring, there didn't seem to be any confidence or plan instilled into the team

Hughton's masterplan was have Taylor bounding around the pitch like a gazelle, across the entire back line as a one man press until he dropped down exhausted

Please don't underestimate Taylor's magnificent masterclass against Bristol, it was an epic, could be the defining moment of the season, it's up there with Eric Lihaj's show against Arsenal but let's not have it end like it did with Eric

I think Taylor's penalty was one of the most composed under huge pressure i've seen in a long time, I thought the whole Bristol thing was one of the best experiences in maybe 100 games maybe 20 years, keep on enjoying it

I think this run deserves some respite for all the players from criticism there's been plenty, there will no doubt be opportunities, hopefully in a long time from now where all the cynics and critics will be crawling all over everything

Whilst I disagree with the Taylor master class I do agree that the players deserve a break from the criticism and also believe that the criticisms of Ch and the previous way of signing players was bang on.

I am also so pleased that Yates is getting some recognition from fans now.

Hope Taylor can prove all of the doubters (including myself) wrong. The penalty was great... truly. However as the saying goes... one swallow does not make a summer. If he can stop rolling around the floor flapping his arms around looking for fouls then I am sure he can be a half decent player for us. Need to see the consistency though. I do also believe the change in tactical approach will help him... he has to do it now though... every week... every time he gets an opportunity
