Should buy Hooters

Raises the question what revenue streams count as revenue for FFP? I assume we couldn't buy a share of any profitable business. But a hotel? A restaurant?

Nottingham Forest Football Club Limited has applied for a premises license under the Licensing Act 2003, the application concerns Hart’s Restaurant, located at Standard Hill, Park Row, Nottingham.

On the documents dated 2 February, the club intends to reopen the restaurant to offer a high-quality dining experience, similar to the previous operation.

Now were cooking with gas!

Crazy

Why crazy.. Genuine question?

The demand isn't there.

Commercially it makes no sense.

Makes a lot of sense to me. Harts has an excellent reputation if a bit dated now. However Im not talking about just as a restaurant, its the conference and event facility it has, have used it many times for work.

The club has nothing suitable itself if they want to put on an event such as last week’s race and equality conference. Harts isnt that big but can put on small high quality events under the club name.
Needs some updating definitely but why not have an option the club can use within the city? Doesn’t have to be at the ground.
Think its a clever move myself, we lose far too much money compared to almost every other Premier League club in commercial revenues.

Reputation for what?

The restaurant has been dead for years.

It’s not exactly going to be a prime location match days so how is this imaginary revenue created?

Surely it’s about profit not revenue.

A hotel makes sense, especially if the Club are spending a fair bit of money in that area albeit you would think something closer to NG2 would be the better option.

Just read the article, they intend to buy the old restaurant only and reduce it in size so my theory about a function venue is wrong.
No idea what the reason is, can only assume the club thinks they can run a profitable business from it.

They might just want somewhere different to host the non-match day hospitality. I guess it will not be a pie and a pint.

Maybe they are not impressed with thee catering at WFCG

I think it's just for office space, probably with one eye on the Main Stand development.

Glass half full: someone will play the winner of Coventry vs Maidstone for a place in the FA Cup semi-final. It could be us!

Well you never know but last night’s performance would struggle to beat Maidstone let alone Coventry.
Just Man U to put away first. Hopefully we will look and play far better.

The cash from 2 extra replays, and a home tie with ManU will at least help with FFP.
