I think that's an over simplification, and clearly he can not escape some criticism. I think we have signed too many players. We will see at the end of the season which ones haven't been playing. Unless the plan is to have a big clear out, although leaving it late means I doubt we'll get good fees. RE: What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy - Sabricadabra - 28-09-2020 A week to go yet. RE: What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy - Tricky - 28-09-2020 They need to get a bit of a wiggle on then :s RE: What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy - wassy04 - 29-09-2020 Tails latest Athletic headline: "Forest need to shift the bomb squad..." he's definitely got that from us. Hi Paul :D RE: What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy - ThePromisedLand - 29-09-2020 (29-09-2020, 08:50 AM)wassy04 Wrote: Tails latest Athletic headline: "Forest need to shift the bomb squad..." he's definitely got that from us. Hi Paul :D His articles are no better than the local rag he used to work for - and, of late, they’re getting progressively more predictable. If your reading Paul - try telling us ( just once ) something interesting or that we didn’t already know. I’ve elected not to renew my Athletic membership on the back of such bland articles. RE: What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy - ozzyten10 - 29-09-2020 I was thinking that his recent articles suggest there is a big media blackout since lockdown or our press department is still on furlough. His only quoted insights are from the pressers - Percy and Danny Taylor are still the preferred go to for leaks. Although Danny Taylor’s bleak outlook on transfers in august went completely the other way!!! I’m thinking of cancelling the subscription too. The latest article anyone on here could have written - the only new info was that Gaz Brazil is in charge of keeping the bomb squad fit and training due to the duty of care to the player. Incidentally, Steve hodge has done this at a number of clubs including QPR and Wolves... RE: What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy - Salvatore Matrecano - 30-09-2020 This week: Move out Portuguese players, Carvalho, Silva, Figs, Ribeiro Saturday: Lose to Bristol City Sunday : sabri sacked, Marco Silva appointed. Monday : “Hey Modesto, I dont want all these Frenchies, go and sign me some Portuguese players.“ RE: What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy - Tricky - 30-09-2020 (30-09-2020, 09:55 AM)Salvatore Matrecano Wrote: This week: Move out Portuguese players, Carvalho, Silva, Figs, Ribeiro :D :D :D RE: What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy - Liars Bar - 30-09-2020 That’s basically what’s been happening for 20 years. Hughton played Dunk and Duffy who are two no nonsense head it and clear it centre backs. Potter has brought into the team Ben White and Adam Webster who are footballing centre backs. Early Balls down the channels to turn the centre backs. Karanka and Sabri were defensive managers but did try to play out from the back. |
