If Forest crash out of the top 6, I don't expect the Coach to be here in the Summer and anything might then happen.

the only problem with shortermism is, it can only really work in the short term
though the owner could make bucket loads of cash and walk away, not that he will, though turning down the bucket loads of cash could be difficult and then just start another season with a new coach and new squad
January could turn out to of been our Stalingrad and sadly we are the German 6th Army, the objective of the German eastern front campaign was quite modest, the Oilfields in Baku being the PL and the capture of Stalingrad top 6

Exactly Sniff. All this talk of having to sell Cash, Worrall, Samba etc is madness. Carvalho to Olympiakos is the answer.

I'm sorry but have to disagree here. 1 of Cash, Worrall or Lolley will more than likely be sold in the summer as well as Carv. Let's not kid ourselves here. Football is a short career and money is king.
We have always been a selling club.

One consideration here is that EFL may ignore next season but still enforce the 3 year £39M limit overall.

I read it today in The Guardian I think it was.
It states that the current 2020 financial year will not be assessed at all under FFP procedures, and will instead be rolled up into 2021, and the two years assessed together as a single financial period.
Uefa also confirmed that clubs would be allowed losses in excess of €30m as long as they show this was caused by falls in revenues because of the shutdown caused by Covid 19.

UEFA set the P & S rules which act as qualifying requirements for their competitions; the immediate impact will be on PL Clubs.
The EFL have to set their rules in accordance with the PL; the Rules for Championship sides are more or less the same as for the PL, with alterations made for L1 and L2 Clubs.
The temporary changes should make no difference to any Club who have already broken the existing rules; the changes impact on this season and next; the Accounts for this season are not due until next March.
Derby and Wednesday should still get their come uppance.

PL/EFL haven't announced anything yet though right? Would assume they will, seems sensible in the current crisis. Although some will definitely take advantage that can afford it.
