How will the team/fans cope when the media start quoting how we've only won once in 6 games or lost 3-4 in a row etc, because that's what always happens.

Puts a lot of pressure on that Ipswich game to get a win and keep the negative voices at bay.

People started walking out after 82 minutes yesterday, I thought that was telling, the togetherness is not what it was and a bad run of form will test some of the fan base.

Thought there were a fair few tourists and unfamiliar faces yesterday which explains some of it. Never understood how they get tickets. 3 near me arrived 5 mins late, pissed off to the bar on 35 minutes, arrived 2nd half 5 minutes late then left after 3rd goal. Thanks for your support muppets.

There were but talking to a chap at work, him and the six around him all season ticket holders left before 90 minutes were up, I said that I never realised that he was part of the prawn sandwich brigade, which he laughed off - I was being serious.

Are we being linked with him?

5 win, 4 draws, 2 defeats.

We have played. 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th - So far this season - Taking 5pts from them games

1 win, 2 draws, 2 defeats

We have also played - 12th, 14th, 15th, 18th, 19th 20th - Taking 14 points from the games.

4 wins, 2 draws, 0 defeats.

This is a positive as we have struggled in recent times against teams that have been around us.

Next 8 games are 4th, 17th, 2nd, 13th, 9th, 11th, 10th, 16th.

Arsenal will be tough, but never know, Nuno seems to set up very well against the Big 6 as shown already this season.
Ipswich - Happy they won a game before we play them. Should be a game to target.
Man City - 4 Losses in a row, Rodri a big miss but would expect them to beat us.
Man Utd - New manager, They have looked relatively average all season but probably will see an upturn in form.
Aston Villa - I think this is a game which can go either way. They seem very suspect on the transition which we are good at.
Brentford - Would love to beat this and I think we can. There defence is not great but attacking wise they seem to score goals.
Tottenham - Hot and Cold team. Gave Ipswich and Palace there only wins of the season, very suspect defensively.
Everton - They have been poor this season, Lost to Southampton. Probably participated in the most boring match in the league. Have to go there and win.

Personally think we can get 3 wins from these 8 games. Would put us on 28pts from 19 games. Which would be magnificient.

That would be a terrific 1st half of the season and make a top 10 finish very possible

Personally, whilst his language was fruity and his opinion not popular (in Liverpool or Germany at least) in a private situation with - I assume - his (supposed) mates,  he was clearly just letting off steam over a few beers. He clearly stated the video can not go anywhere, so in fact someone was in breach of privacy laws.

He should be suspended for a while, apologise, then given a few lower league games (maybe even non league as penance) but when the self righteous journos have all moved on, be allowed back to earn a living having learnt some valuable lessons and who his mates really are.

I would never dream of doing anything like that to my mates. Absolute snakes.

Everyone says things in semi jest against their employers, clients etc to their mates. Unfortunately for him he's in a massively high profile role and he's said disparaging stuff against the absolutely worst club possible. Their fans will be bleating about this for years, as they do.

I agree. Suspect every one of us has been in a bar and talked openly like that about customers or colleagues, its effectively the same thing.
To release that video has effectively cost a bloke both his job and reputation, huge effects on his family too. That “friend” needs sorting out.

I completely agree. Losing your job over that is mental.

You know it'll be x10 worse because it's Liverpool. The only team I remember a ref apologising to in the media when Pickford broke VVD's leg

For all the shit we give refs, it's reasons like this we actually need to support them.

Yeah and not forgetting his opinion was entirely justified as Klopp had just previously insulted him and called him a liar. Not his fault if that makes him now dislike him surely.

Whoever leaked that is a proper snake too.

If you remember we got the wrong end of this after comments regards the ref and VAR last season via Everton. It appears where you are in the pecking order and the name of the club, DOUBLE STANDARDS

Genuinely hope this isn't one of ours (sexual offence charge)

Rumours were he played for Arsenal, so not one of ours.
