The Premier League - McDurban - 27-05-2024 It is with great joy we start the Premier League 2024/25 thread, there were moments last season where I thought it might be The Championship 2025. This year we welcome two of lasts years relegated teams back, Leicester and Southampton. Ipswich have surprised everyone except themselves and will be the team I support to stay up against all the odds, can they go one place better than Luton? It was a well predicted farewell for Luton, Burnley and Sheffield Utd, although I would love to have seen Luton survive at someone else's expense. Will any be able to bounce back... I have my doubts. Who's gonna win the League? The manager merry-go-round may present a surprise or two. Any club except Man City & Man Utd has my vote. Not too much expected on the transfer front for Forest with PSR & all. Just hope that whoever the Forest manager will be, he'll have a full preseason with all the squad, not so many last minute arrivals. COYR's. RE: The Premier League - The reds - 27-05-2024 Looks like Enzo Maresca will become the Chelsea Manager... Leicester will be scrambling around now... RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 27-05-2024 I can't quiet get my head around that one. Chelsea appear to have lost the plot completely. RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - Fumanchew - 27-05-2024 As well as a points deduction Leicester may have some players poached, as middle table teams have there’s poached by the top 6 perhaps? It maybe a real summer of dominoes falling RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - Salvatore Matrecano - 27-05-2024 (27-05-2024, 01:01 PM)The reds Wrote: Looks like Enzo Maresca will become the Chelsea Manager... The only question is whether he be gone when the pumpkins are still out or when Christmas decs are up. RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - Salvatore Matrecano - 27-05-2024 Who’s your winner and bottom 3 then? Mine Winner Man City all 115 charges conveniently dropped 18th Brentford 19th Leicester 20th Ipswich RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - Sausage Roll - 27-05-2024 (27-05-2024, 01:01 PM)Sniffer Dog (Admin) Wrote: I can't quiet get my head around that one. Maybe they think the only way they'll beat Guardiola is with someone who worked for him. Hasn't quite worked out for Arsenal yet. RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - Fumanchew - 27-05-2024 If maresca is going to Chelsea, McKenna seems to be stopping at Ipswich because I assume ETH has done enough winning a cup, who do Brighton go for? Has Frank’s head been turned enough to seek appointment else where regardless? I do think Brentford will struggle again, I also think Everton are in a knife edge especially with the take over not complete yet RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - Sausage Roll - 27-05-2024 McKenna likely to stay with Ipswich according to Sky Sports. RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - Trailer Park Tom - 27-05-2024 Cooper to Leicester I reckon. RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 28-05-2024 (27-05-2024, 07:42 PM)Trailer Park Tom Wrote: Cooper to Leicester I reckon. Surely that would be a mistake for both parties? RE: The Premier League 2024/25 - WrexhamRed - 28-05-2024 (27-05-2024, 12:03 PM)McDurban Wrote: Who's gonna win the League? Or Liverpool. I'm just waiting for that scummy club to suffer a complete collapse & get relegated down to league 2 in successive seasons. When that happens I will have lived my life & can go in complete peace with a smile on my face ? I would be reasonably happy if Arsenal could stop the Man City juggernaut this year. |
