Agreed I'd also start with Taylor

Why Taylor? I thought Murray faded 2nd half but he scored one ( I know it was og but he forced it) and was very unlucky not to have scored with the flick 1st half. Taylor constantly looks put of position to me, I dont think he would have got on the end of Ameobi’s cross.
The dilemma is more Grabban for me, he has more quality, just dont think his heart is in it anymore.

Why not Taylor, I'd rather see us start a game with Taylor up front than Murray, as you have stated Murray faded in the 2nd half, I feel that with Taylor he would offer more than Murray, I think Murray's age is a factor, also I think Murray is best suited to come off the bench in say the 60th minute to batter down the opposition and get his head on the and of something, just my opinion.

Absolutely Murray shouldn’t have to be giving us more than 30 mins. Just think he is the best starting option of our 3 choices right now, which isnt really saying much about the other 2.

My view

Positives
Point against a top 6 side
The opposition missed the sitters for once
Mckenna back in the side
Ameobi superb
Garner superb
Sheep lost
Lolley started very well
Knockeart reset his attitude
Cant knock the effort
Bong defended quite well tbf

Negatives
Sh1t goal to concede
We could easily have conceded more
Although playing a bit deeper, our #10 has no cutting edge.
Samba-I love him but poor keeping.
Worrall out for a while
Lolley back to square 1 just as he looks to be getting back to the Joe we know.
We hung on to the point after conceding.

Overall: Good point  which I think we just about deserved in a 50 50 game. On to the next one.

Agreed, wouldn't put that on the defence at all. Keeper was at fault otherwise they defended well. Midfield got overrun and attack didn't utilise the extra space.

Reading looked good second half too

Disagree.  I'd put that on the defence.

Samba has done poorly there.  He has to save it.

But the defence was all at sea.  Where was Figs?  Was that him caught out of position further up the pitch?

Reading put more pressure on Forest 2nd half.  They're decent enough and picked up momentum.  But we should have held on there.

At least Forest scored 1st half.  'Almost'.  That's been a feature of Forest's season.

SA.

You can pick apart one goal conceded but if you let a team repeatedly attack you they will eventually score. It doesn't have to be a mistake or poor play every time we concede. (Although in this case Samba messed up)

If the other team has loads of chances that increases the chances of a mistake happening.

Agreed

What's a matter, Tricky?  Are you the only one entitled to an opinion?  :P

SA.

Not at all SA. You just bore the tits off me!

Insults when somebody doesn't see it your way?  :)

SA.

No insults intended SA. Just the truth. I can deal with other peoples opinions if they have valid points or are correct in their opinion. I could ask you the same question about the other day when you rudely cut off a comment I made that disagreed with some of your post.

I am being honest when I say that I find you boring. That isn't an opinion, it is a fact.

Needed to get that second goal.

Samba seemed to have the sun in his eyes, but had to get his body behind the shot. Great pass to set up their goal, though. And they hit the post twice.

Still think we'd have won if Lolley hadn't popped his hamstring- he was looking back to his best, and about to pull the trigger.

If Samba was having problems with the sun then I must ask the question: Why wasn't he wearing a cap?

When did you last see a keeper wearing a cap? 1982?

Not sure if the sun was the reason Samba messed up but I have thought for many years we shouldn’t choose to defend the Bridgford End 2nd half in March / April time. The sun starts dipping behind the PT stand and its a problem not just for the keeper but defenders too especially for corners etc.
Not saying its something that costs a goal every game. Just don’t understand why we wouldn’t give ourselves a small advantage if it is there. There is no reason to kick the same way, most visitors dont even think about it and we could choose that end.

Im not willing to give him an easy out for the goal. Sun my arse. He just messed it up.

2 goals in 2 games now he should've stopped. He needs to step up and focus. If Figs had cost us those goals we'd be slating him.

What does that matter when it was? For the record it was this season but like I said what does that matter, it's not a fashion garment. IF Samba was having problems with the sun then he should have taken action.

Ahh. I can just imagine what you would be saying if it was Bong or Figs.

Everyone has their own favourite scapegoat, Samba, Bong, Yates, Figs.

Mine is Taylor if you hadn't worked it out.
