Yep. Duncan.  That's probably the truth of the matter.  I didn't realise he only had a year left on his contract and that was this year.

Our fullbacks have been pretty soft all season defensively.  Difficulty in stopping crosses coming into the box.  (Ruthlessly targeted by opposition teams.). And I'm not surprised if Hughton is looking at more defensively robust fullbacks who can position themselves better, do more running, better crosses, more energy, better tackling, track back and actually head a ball.  They've been part of our malaise.

I remember Ribs bombing on in the Derby game, loses the ball and gives the ball away and it wasn't long after that Derby equalised.  I thought at the time, perhaps that is not what we need right now.  ie. To be bombing on.  Rather than using our head and keeping the win safe.

SA.

Our defence can't be that bad considering they are fifth when it comes to least conceded side in the Championship.

But lets not let a bit of drama get in the way of facts eh?

But not good enough to hold on to 1-0s, eh?

Let's not let facts get in the way of making 'a point' for drama sakes?

Yeah.  Should have been 3.  Another point (from a top 5 side) towards survivable from a 'rough' run of games.

Not sure about should've been 3, reading were pretty dominant for the final 25 mins or so. Was even before that, I'd say a fair result

Agreed, wouldn't put that on the defence at all. Keeper was at fault otherwise they defended well. Midfield got overrun and attack didn't utilise the extra space.

Reading looked good second half too
