The wingers are not the problem..........the problem is the 2 central midfielders are not there supporting when attacking.

How many shots on target have Yates and Colback had ?

Wingers fire the ball in defender heads out..........midfielders on the edge of the box fire it back in.............

We dont have that.........defenders head out and their midfielders pick it up as Yates and Colback are nearer the half way line........

We really do need to start putting the ball in the net. Scoring 9 goals in 14 games is a major problem.

Players are always going to be criticized while we are losing. The reason the there is debate is we all watch football differently.
Take the Swansea goal. Was it Figs fault for the ridiculous back pass into the stand. Or Ameobi for being beaten to the header by a man 6 inches shorter. Or Samba for not getting the save in. Or McKenna for the cleared header into danger.

Winning / Losing football games is usually about fine margins. We were equal to Swansea for much of the game, but only 1 team took points. Players/Coaches/management have to admit now that we have problems. We have to stop kidding ourselves that we are a top 6 side.

Spot on OR. Who is putting us on the Top 6 pedestal though? Is it the fans, the media, or the club themselves? 

Forest fans expectations are always high nowadays and I think this is a major part of the problem. The fans are too demanding in their expectations. As I, along with numerous others have said, Forest are an average second division side. We have been in the second division for longer than any other side in our league. We had a stint in the third division and have never looked like a side capable of holding our own in the PL. Promotion at this moment in time, even if we did blaze through the league, would only see us bounce straight back next season.

The media will always pick up on fans expectations as it is the fans they sell their products to.

The club would not be in business if it didn't believe it was capable of challenging for the top spot. The problem is, there are 23 other teams in the league with the same ambitions and aspirations

So who was to blame for the chance Grabban missed against Rotherham? Or the chance Guerrero missed at Barnsley? Or the chance Knockaert missed against Swansea? Or the ridiculous defending for the Swansea goal? I could go on...

If the players are not to blame for that then who is?

Average players miss chances. I include Knockaert in that statement as he is not the player of three years ago, yet. 

Occasionally they will hit a golden patch, if we’re lucky it’s with us. I guess it won’t be unless Hughton finds the right formula.

Average second division team like we have been for about 20 years = Average players.
