Definitely no smoke without fire SM I agree, I am not daft enough to believe that everything is a bed of roses. If what you heard about Pants is true and he drove off sulking after Muric was selected ahead of him then in my opinion it was right to bomb him out. Same with Milosevic after he allegedly missed the team bus to Ipswich. There are reasons why things happen, players don't get bombed out for fun.

The problem with Pants started well before Muric arrived at the Club, and Pants is not as innocent as being painted.

So once again it sounds like Vrentzos was right to bomb him out (if indeed it was Vrentzos).

In my view, he probably was; it probably could have been done in a better manner though.

There must be big cultural differences in how people manage over here compared to in Greece

Pantillimon was rubbish anyway, excellent shot stopper but couldn't save shots down low. Honestly was at fault for a lot of goals during Karanka’s time. If we'd had Samba then I reckon we'd have got more points before karanka was sacked.

Specifically that Norwich game he just didn't dive for the 2nd goal

The Pants scenario is another one, I heard a different version, he wasnt bombed out but pissed that at the start of last season Muric ( remember him??) was picked ahead of him. Maybe BS but heard he arrived at the academy on matchday, saw the team sheet and promptly drove off. Jordan Smith was unexpectedly on the bench that game.

It will be quite telling I think if we have indeed seen the last of Figs and Ribeiro or if they never have been ousted and are included next week.

Figi has asked to leave...... and for family reasons. Has a Mrs and young kid in Portugal and with the current COVID situ can’t be helping matters. I think folk are getting carried away that Fug is now in the bomb squad !

His performance levels also dropped off sharply, so there is no point in having a player who wants away when you are trying to build something.

Read somewhere that - for transfers to Portugal to go through in this window - the paperwork should already have been submitted.
Might be absolute fiction?

I don’t get the negativity regarding the new stand.

We are in the middle of a global crisis not seen in most of our lifetimes. EM has ploughed millions into the team not knowing when or if we will be able to play in front of fans this season or even next.

At some point he will have to pay all of the season tickets back plus add to that the loss of match day income, advertising revenue, hospitality etc.

Yes on the face of it now would be ideal to rip the old stand down and build the new one, but as a businessman not a fan if it were me I would certainly be thinking twice about it!

The world is changing, times are too uncertain, I for one would not blame him in the slightest if he put the plans on hold.

Definitely not.

Danny is intelligent, articulate and humble.

True that!

DT is still on his rants - basically saying he has covered the truth for a while and has had enough of it and that it was eating into his journalistic integrity. Somethings gone off...

Just checked this out. One or two questioned him - just defending his position.
Or that’s the way I read it.
Clarified the Anigo situation ( if it were needed ).

Time to move on methinks. I believe he has done everyone a favour by getting stuff out in the open - hope that will persuade the club to be a little more transparent in their communication with fans.

Spot on.

1 season ticket issue rectified ✅
2 finalise transfers before window closes
3 try and move some of the bomb squad on
4 focus on Blackburn
