When Karanka failed we blamed his attitude, he had previous apparently.
When ONeill failed we blamed him because he was past it.
When Lamouchi failed we blamed negaive football, player disagreements, whatever you want.

Hughton has an impeccable CV, track record of promotion, attitude and respect from players has never been doubted.
So if he fails who or what are you going to blame?

Since dropping out of the PL under the most corrupt owners the club has ever had, Nigel Doughty was accused of all manner of conspiracy theories until he was eventually driven out by the fans. Fawaz was driven out for incompetence, but also the terrible crimes of trying to please the fans and spending many millions. Now these owners are next in line of sight of the self entitled fans of a tin pot mediocre second division football club.

After 22 years maybe we need to look at the one common denominator rather than the succession of owners, staff and managers?

And I actually think EM was right to stick the boot in on this infamous zoom call. He probably let them know that they are privileged to be employed by him and that if they thought that last years capitulation was acceptable then they were wrong.

From what I've heard, read, seen in the last 24 hours, Sabri, unfortunately, was mortally wounded after the Stoke defeat. EM's biggest mistake might have been to stick with him for as long as he did. I didn't think I'd be saying that two weeks ago.

Opportunistic pile on is right.

Very oddly named thread and - in my view - highly disrespectful to a top journalist who happens to be a Forest fan.
He isn’t whinging - he is telling a few home truths.
Not happy with this.

Wow, whoever renamed this thread needs to have a good look at himself after he has pulled his out of the sand.

Daniel Taylor, who is an acclaimed award winning journalist, who has been a chief football writer for the Guardian and Observer, now a major contributor to the Athletic, he has written fabulous books on Nottingham Forest, has an has been writing in the Forest programme for several seasons (not that many of you would know that as you don’t attend matches to buy it) and who just happens to love Nottingham Forest and trying to get his family to support them although settled in Manchester.

Now he has told a few home truths then he is winging and a no good journalist. Amazing!

And then we have the likes of Sabricadabra (which is an odd name as Sabri many times said he was not a magician) starts to blame the fans for how badly the club has been run not just now but for all the years.

The fans who have kept the faith and have kept turning up in the thousands to watch a poor performing team both on and off the field. Guessing you cannot be a fan then if you think how bad fans are and what a tinpot club it is!!

Can’t make it up, so disrespectful

It was a new thread created today and older posts from other threads that had been derailed were moved into it. The date of the thread comes from the date of the first post in the thread.

Even if I think the arguments are legitimate Im with Sniffer on this. Having slept on it, too many of us are getting worked up about everything. The forum is meant to be enjoyable, a thread to vent frustrations makes sense, give it a good name and it makes you put Forest in perspective of the greater scheme of life. :P
