Personally I think the signings show the club do mean business but it was the lack of willingness to attack and press that got to me. Players coming towards the ball every time. No movement inbehind to mix it up, slow build up hoping that the other team made a mistake rather than us force a mistake or move players out of position. Was screaming for a player to turn with the ball and go forward. To much back to goal stuff going on.
If we do change head coach it needs to be a coach who is not defensive minded. We need to have ideas on how to use the ball and how to attack with it.

2 things for me.
Sabri has to go, it’s clear his tactics are predictable, no matter what formation he plays.
The owner has clearly gone for it with the new signings, but it seems a scatter gun approach. McKenna and Soh shown great potential last night. But we clearly have a midfield of a similar type of player. We seriously lack pace in this team. Silva looks on his way out and if the rumours are true will be replaced with another similar type of midfielder.
Sabri said he wanted a winger as a final signing and we get another CB/LB? We have a very capable squad, just not sure what is going on behind the scenes and exactly who is in charge.

The man can have no excuses. All 2020 we have been crap. Preseason we were crap and its continued as predicted. We have a huge run of games coming soon we could be battered if this continues. There is confidence or fire in the players bellies. He needs to go. We talk about keeping a manager for stability and building a team but what's the point if he practically changes the whole team .

The squad overhaul was necessary and we now have the best team we've had in ages. Remember cash/Watson have left, can't do anything about that so two changes off the bat. Worrall/silva injured so rhats 4 required straight away from last year.
Just will take time to gel, I think the main issue is his current system doesn't really suit the squad anymore and teams seem to have worked out you can just sit back and we don't know how to break them down. He needs to change that and should've done this at the start of the season as a new system will also take time to bed in.
Freeman should play as a number 10 (same issue as with Carv), ideally both Grabban and Taylor start too, build the rest from there

No matter what team he has out we cant score. There is obviously major fundamentals wrong here. We got lucky in many games last season like against fulham away and leeds. The luck ran out ..those one shots on target per game stopped going in and the manager ran out of ideas.
Sabri is a very nice man but is he the right man to take us forward? We have seen major flaws like the collapse last season .

Sabri doesn’t have that energy about him that was there during the first half of last season.
He already looks like the proverbial ‘dead man walking’.
