If he does survive the week, the players need to really put in a performance for him on Friday.

I would give Sabri the Huddersfield game because of the way he inspired a decent second half performance.

I'm hoping the finger is firmly on the trigger.

How long are we going to give the next guy to work with this team then. January? November? Friday 10pm?

I can see Sabri having 2 more games then there is an international break. Next 2 are against Huddersfield and Bristol - I want nothing more than for Sabri to pull it out the bag and get 6 points but I just can’t see it...

I really want Sabri to be given time- I just can’t see how changing again will help. He’s just been given his staff and player recruitment.
We’re also seeing a completely new footballing setting with no crowds- the atmosphere is like a training game. It may take some players time to get used to the change and up there performances accordingly (19-09-2020, 03:12 PM)Sniffer Dog Wrote: I would give Sabri the Huddersfield game because of the way he inspired a decent second half performance. Did he inspire that though ? Cardiff dropped deep, let us have the ball and backed themselves to shut us out. Why didn’t he take the bull by the horns at the start with Taylor and Grabban. It makes Freeman a lot better also as it gives him more passing options. I just think he’s backed himself into a corner that he can’t get out of. Barnsley first game of the season would have been the opportunity to show he was going with s more positive approach, but again it was ultra negative. Then against arguably the weakest defensive side in the league (QPR) we let them have the bill and dominate us until we went behind. It’s no good having a go when we are losing. The better quality squad we now have just doesn’t get the chance to express itself

Unless he s going to change his playing style what’s the point in continuing with him, it’s like watching paint dry

Cardiff, sat back nd let us run around with thd ball ... not even a goal so to see how Cardiff really behaved under pressure... the rock on which last seasons 'success' was built is not there any more. The defence is crumbling , we have been found out ...and Sabri never had a plan B ... looking at his record it ends up always like that, a good start at a club nd then ends in tears ... is it going to happen again..? |
