I agree

A lot of squads would like our manager too.

And before anybody starts, no I am not happy with how things are going right now.

Thats my feeling too. Everyone needs to calm the f down and get behind the team. The owner's backed his man, we should be prepared to also. All this pressure being added by the fan base doesnt help Sabri or the players. It hinders them.

The last thing our club needs right now, I repeat the last thing, is a change of manager.

Just googled it was Dean Smith with Villa. Of the last 51 teams promoted only 5 changed manager during the season and Smith is the only one since 2015.

Note that the Villa owners stuck with their man last season when they were on the cusp of relegation. And they had far higher stakes at risk than at our club. Relegation wouldve been an absolute disaster Villa. They're now backing him in the transfer market.

How many of those 51 promoted were promoted with an average of 40% or less possession in a game. I did stats last week in relation to goals scored to get promoted for the last 20 years too. The stats are less than 5 in the 60 promoted teams featured without being in the top 5 for goals scored.

But I could not resist pointing out it was last season. Haha. Sorry mate.

We finished 7th last season so obviously our goals for and against weren’t good enough for promotion. Mind you Huddersfield were promoted with a negative goal difference, so there are always exceptions.

If Sabri is replaced then we are writing off the season. Again.

No not writing the season off... we could be if we leave it too long though

To be honest iv felt the football has been dreadful for a long time and we got lucky in many games last season

Recruitment over the past few years has been disjointed and poor. There is no cohesive strategy at all.

Watson and cash were probably out best players last season. Watson helped protect the back 4 and dictate matches. A proper leader with his mouth and at the ref.

Its only been one game, a short preseason hasn't helped to shake the cobwebs. A loss next weekend will be really damaging. I dont have the confidence that we have a better team now. Janaury window was absolutely atrocious. Remains to be seen how this window has been....it hasn't been spectacular in challenging times. We have scored 1 goal in 3 preseason , one cup and one league game for god sake.

Recruitment has been  ok. You win some you lose some where signings are concerned. We have a good squad of players, almost a very good squad of players, that is mostly through recruitment. Grabban is struggling a bit, Lolley is struggling a bit, Figs is struggling a bit, they were not bad recruits far from it.

The manager is currently struggling and some players haven't shaken off what happened at the end of last season yet. Just a bit of patience would be nice. If at the end of October nothing has changed then EM will have a decision to make. We CAN turn it around, not saying we will but we Can.
