I'm not sure I would go back to Gary Brazil. I do not remember his times in charge with any fondness. Certainly can't recall him bringing better tresults or performances on the pitch.
If lamouchi was to go, I imagine Marinakis would have someone lined up. I personally think, with the players we have, that a the Forest job looks pretty tempting right now

Seriously though if he thinks he's lost the dressing room he may decide to quit. It wouldn't surprise me if things carry on like they are for much longer.
Forest fans want to back their manager. or... 'Coach.' I don't like them getting sacked. Any of them.
But considering how little Martin O' Neil got of that precious commodity. 'Time'. The Coach has been leading a charmed life. He only improved the league position by two (with a pre-season...and lots more players.). Tied with Aitor's 7th.
And a boat load more players this season. He's got a rare gift. To build on successive seasons.
He was very lucky to have Sow drive this team on towards the top 6 last year. Until that 'ace' in the pack got injured.
He needs to start winning. Fast.
SA.

SA. You are right.
I was sympathetic towards him at the end of last season because I felt it was the failure to back him in January that just meant we ran out of steam and forced his hand - particularly on the hectic finale where the players looked dead on their feet.
But now he has been backed and I would say the players in more than make up for the one player who has gone out. Today, we don't win that game playing like that, even if Cash was playing.
He has no excuses for that type of display. We have brought a range of attacking options yet we still set up so negatively that you could have the ten creative attacking players in the squad but if you play like that it doesn't matter.
It may well be too early to judge - the likes of Colback, Freeman played very little last season so will need time to get up to speed; Lyle Taylor has not played regularly since February; for some of the foreign lads this is their first taste of English football.
But tge signs that we have taken a step forward from last season are not there.
We've forced just one save from a goalkeeper in two matches; we seem lethargic and nervous on the pitch and the tactics seem one dimensional. These are big worries and we all know that he will not have much time to sort them
If we lose to Cardiff and Huddersfield then I struggle to see him staying for much longer

Is he starting to display some Billy like tendencies (and not the good ones)?
Excluding the likes of Adomah, Benalouane, Yuri and Joao?

I would think he has very little time left unless things change dramatically

3 wins from 18.
23 points from 22.
Last 18 games we’ve scored 1 or less in 15

One positive is that whoever does come in if lamouchi does leave will have a good squad to choose from.
But seriously, lamouchi has got to sort it out and I hope he does.

Cheer up you miserable lot. We need to bed in. Freeman looked promising, Colback rusty, Grabban missed a couple. Gabriel a young lad making his league debut. On another day we'd be going home with a point.
Im keeping the faith.

To be honest I`ve given up caring if Lamouchi gets the sack, I really cannot see him turning this around, I don't think he knows how to, I`m starting to think that maybe he has lost the dressing room with his tactics or lack of them, his tinkering with the team, poor decision making will and continually over looking certain players that are more than capable to get into this team.
I hope that he leaves or is given the boot, he is here because the owner believed that he was the right man for the job, that is certainly looking unlikely, he is far too defensive and he worries far too much about the opposition, and he sets up to get nick a point with his dour football, he has been found out by opposing teams and their managers counter his style of football by getting stuck into our team from the kick off, we only seem to react when we go behind, and usually as we appear to be getting on top and seem capable of winning the game, he then either doesn't go for the throat to kill off the game and prefers to sit back inviting trouble and we usually manage to get the draw or we capitulate.
For me personally the next four games are important games for the club and Lamouchi, he either changes it around asap or he will see the supporters turn on him and vent anger and hostility towards him and want him gone, I fear he can see the mistakes and is too stubborn in his ways to correct it, so the next four games will either see him turn this around or he will be gone.

Ive said all along he needs wins. Maybe another defeat and a draw in the next couple of games and he might be toast. I dont like it but that's the way it is. We didn't deserve to lose today.

One gripe I've got, I've seen one person refer to 6 wins in 27 games and another 16 points from 57.
Can people please stop quoting this arbitrary stats. I can only assume 27 and 19 games were picked because we won a few games just before those two cut offs.
I would say given the lockdown situation, its worth counting since lockdown whatever that is. Not sure March is relevant now though.
Rant over
