Hopefully taylor can continue his form from charlton and it wasnt just a purple patch.

I I wouldn't mind sam Clucas of stoke. Impressed me last year. Billy davies wanted to sign him when he was a nobody

Not surprised with the 6 brought in.  They're clear upgrades.

More competitive characters.  More experience.  More quality.

Lyle.  Matchwinning quality?  He and Freeman should make a marked difference.

We can expect stoke to do better this year. No where near relegation. Their manager has bottle and fight and got Stoke ticking. Got them out of it when they were dead and buried with their old manager.

I’m worried we don’t have enough of a goal threat.

Hopefully Taylor can prove me wrong.

get rid of Sabri La Paint Dry

i'm bored, i saw this thread and i wanted to read this thread so much

i just want goals, i'm so bored, we go hours and hours without scoring, we are damaged

to compound the problem for me is that the believers are gone, forget talent and creativity, most of our crucial goals, pressure goals, last minute goals, winners against far superior teams were often a Wozza or Watson or Cash or Figs, not
creative or natural goal scorers just.. believers .. doing it because we had to score

there are huge problems, i think any team fired up and wanting to play and score, at this moment in time, will beat us

Sabri is a coward and the believers, players who found the motivation and belief from within saved him most of the time

Hoping to be proved wrong but i doubt it

The future is setting up to win, score 2 or 3 a game, not boring everyone to death and hoping to nick a winning goal

We have to be able to go out against at least some teams, set up to beat them up, make them look stupid and play them
off the park, i can't see this ever happening ever again, this 30% sh1te deserves to lose, ok a tough top team yes but
week in, week out.

I think we are seriously damaged, I know I am, it's depressing the life out of me.

La Paint Dry take a flying f**k

A half decent manager will score buckets full of goals with this squad, it needs a motivator, fighting, winner who infuses confidence, expression and belief, not spent force coward

We need to keep hold of the ball and stop giving it away cheaply. The Spanish striker we have just signed is supposed to be good at holding the ball up. That might help. We need to keep possession for longer.

I'm not assuming they will. I'm putting a name out that i think we should be aiming for, but i don't believe our owners would even entertain it anyway.

No and hopefully they wouldn’t entertain it. We would have to pay way over the odds to prize a player away from one of our rivals, and that would be reckless for a club of limited financial means like ourselves.

Seriously we could sign messi but if we continue to set up like we did today and at the end of the season we won’t do anything. Today showed that, despite some good signings, sabri hasn’t learnt anything. That team is crying out for 352 but we play 2 defensive mids with no support for carv and an isolated striker.

I give sabri 2 more games. There needs to be a change in mentality within the team and that comes from the manager. We need to see more desire and more possession. We need to see better use of possession. I like sabri, I want him to succeed but I’m starting to think he can’t change

Why should he change? We over achieved last season with our best finish for 10 years.

I agree we need better use of possession than in this match.

So we are turning against the manager now?

The manager who got us within a whisker of the play offs last season and hasn't even had one league game in charge yet this season.

I know yesterday's game was not really that important but another couple of poor defeats & performances and Sabri's under real pressure imo. The fans aren't going to forget the capitulation soon and now he's got more attacking options, performances like yesterday's just aren't going to be acceptable any more.
