A major issue for Forest last season was lack of goals, which could be contributed to lack of creativity in the side.
Do we think that has been addressed with the transfers so far and players capable in this league ?
Freeman is hopefully the answer, the likes of Fred and Colback can help but primarily they are work horses in middle of park. We have lost creativity in Cash and Watson.
As for Goals, well that still remains to me a worry.
Taylor scores 11 in the championship last season so that looks promising. Freeman played around 125 championship and scored 17 goals, and non last season.
Guerrero never scored in the championship and scored once in 22 games last season. Colback can chip in with the odd goal in this league, but none last season (as injured and not part of newcastle squad). Fred not a scorer. Tyler Blackett played lots of game in the championship but never scored.
So last season looking at 11 championship goals, but then must consider losing Cash, Walker and Watson who between scored 7, means not much difference
Also though Grabban only scored 4 goals in last 18 games, so wasn’t so prolific in second half of the season and another year older he will have proper competition for the first time in Taylor so hoping that will push him on
So have we done enough or could we do with more goals and creativity ?

I think you are looking at it a little too simplistically.
The players we have added enables us to play higher up the pitch. Blackett & Ioannou have pace and quality on the ball.
Colback and Fred enable the midfield to win the ball higher up the pitch.
Then you add in Freeman and Taylor who add creativity and goals. Guerrero will also open up the space for players around him.
I still think a winger will come in before the deadline, and then you also have Mighten & Johnson who will certainly kick on this season.
Yes we have lost Cash, but I think we are infinitely stronger than last season

We also need to concede fewer. Leeds, WBA, Fulham and Brentford all let in fewer goals, but:
Taylor is one of the most clinical and experienced strikers in the Championship, so he’s a big improvement on Mir, Walker etc. Grabban had to play virtually every game and visibly tired towards the end of the season. He will get more support this time with Taylor and Guerrero being able to see out games off the bench, Taylor rotating, and Guerrero being able to step in against certain opponents.
Freeman is a big improvement in creativity. He’s an experienced Championship player who creates chances and adds creativity and incisiveness to an attack. Maybe Carvalho will look like the player he did under Karanka.
Mighten and Johnson have a season of experience under their belts and may well contribute more than last season.
Sabri now has more options than last season. His biggest problem last season was that there was little in the way of reliable depth in the squad. The additions of Taylor and Freeman make a big difference on their own.
The other problem was not scoring enough at home. Again, Taylor and Freeman can make the difference.
We don’t need to score more away. What would make a big difference is having match winners to up our goals per game average at home. We dropped far too many points at home last season.
It won’t need much. A defence which concedes fewer than a goal a game and another extra goal every 5-10 games and we will be right up there.

Edit Reason: Forgot to add lolly
)
Yes agree was being simplistic, why over complicate things lol.
I do hope We have match winners in Freeman and Taylor, maybe for me that is what was essentially needed as apart from Grabban and lolly never felt we had another last year.
Hey perhaps we may get another winger or midfielder that blow our socks off As well. Plenty of time in the window left and Sabri can see how the team start the season to see which area (if any) need addressing. Also when the window closes for premier league we can still deal with them for loans for another couple of weeks so maybe keeping our powder dry for then as well to see what’s available?

I remain hopeful - given the manner of our trading this window to date - that the purse strings might be loosened to get a top notch winger ( eg Murphy ).

Last 2 seasons we simply have not scored enough. Would like another quality experienced attacking winger /midfielder to come in . If the likes of grabban/freeman get injured we are back to square one I feel .

Winger. And a 'slide rule' CM who can pass and get the team going forwards.

Another Winger and CM. Pace and passing.
And...I would like another CH. A tall lad who can head and kick it, lead it...and pace it.

...you can put two DCMs behind Jao. Eg. Yates and Colback. Or 'Fred' and Colback. The two faster and more robust Freeman and Ameobi either side of the more artful and deliberate Car'.
There are a lot more ACM options this time.
Still like us to sign another winger to give us that 'burn out' depth that we tend to suffer from. Lolley is shins. And Adomah is senior. Ideally, we want another scruff of the neck prime time matching winning winger.
That and another slide rule CM.
Then? Midfield? We're done.
Just the centre back line. Felt our CHs felt the pressure (perhaps because ACM and striker weren't doing their job in the dying mins and holding up the ball...) and got overloaded. Bit of pace...bit of height...bit more leadership.
Fig. Not a bad lad. Decent. Just need a bit more competition for he and Worrall. Ideally, some big Kenny Burns/Larry monster 'deh' nasty MoFo who can 'do the nasty' on the oppo' front line.

Sabri reckons the quality in training has reached another level compared to last year.
Hopefully taylor can continue his form from charlton and it wasnt just a purple patch.
I I wouldn't mind sam Clucas of stoke. Impressed me last year. Billy davies wanted to sign him when he was a nobody
