I always struggle with his surname so just put his first name, he’s there.

So johnson was the other midfielder in second half at some point would you have had him in the ACM role or joao or do you think joao was played on the wing?

One thing I’m certain of - Joao is not a winger.

Pre season friendly results mean nothing.

Good run out though.

What is it with players 'holding' other players?  Just make it a red card offence.  Put a stop to it.

Get sin bins introduced to cut the dark arts out.

I’d like to see sin bins for example for any cynical fouls after say 75mins. The ‘clever yellows’ for bringing down or pulling back a player and stopping an attack. It stops the sort of exciting sport we want to see and a yellow is almost no punishment. After 75 mins you’re off for the rest of the match. Would make them think again.

Yeah.  Sin bins maybe.  I just find it really frustrating when holding and shirt pulling is 'allowed.'  It's cheating basically. Especially, often in the Penno area.  Just award a penno' then.

And those cynical fouls where players are just 'taken out.'  It rewards the unskillful and the skilful are unrewarded.

I like your ideas, stirred.

Probably keeping in ‘within house’.
Unless we win 7-0 - and field only 9 players - some fans will go into meltdown.

You might as well have said 100.

Knocking a goal or two in against Port Vale shouldn't be such a big ask.

Signs of recovering following the almighty melt down vs Stoke would be a good step in the right direction.  Maybe not continuing to leak goals against rough and tumble mediocre sides.  Stuff like that.
