Only the carabao cup in 2 weeks though, 3 weeks till the first league match. Rounds 2,3 & 4 of the Carabao cup will be the first 3 midweeks after the first league match.

It's pretty much weekend-midweek-weekend matches every week next season, barring international breaks. September will be like that if we stay in the cup, but if we get knocked out first round we'll only have Saturday matches until after the first international break.

I'd be quite happy to be knocked out early in the Carabao to be honest. Give the players a good schedule and time to work on a new formation if we're going to be trying 3 at the back.

In other words we may be regarding the cup match on the 5th as like a warm up and the season proper starting with our first league match, which I wouldn't be upset about.

Also in reference to yesterday’s friendly we don’t know who started, what formation we started with, what he was asking of the players. So I’m not worried at all.

Not on anyone of the photos but neither are sow and lolley cus of their injuries? Looks like maybe yates was in the Watson/colback role which maybe is why there’s a tangle of limbs between he figs and daws for what looks like their first goal?
