So according to website coaching staff are:
Lamouchi Head Coach
Baltazar assistant coach
Kantari assistant Coach
Ramos assistant coach
Pedemas Goalkeeping coach
Abrantes head of performance
Koinis head of performance
Without meaning to sound xenophobic there isnt any english football experience in there at all. Would have preferred to at least see a mix. They are dealing mostly with young lads, helps to have someone with the same culture and background on occasion wen it comes to empathy and putting an arm around.

Don't agree with that SM - you don't need a full understanding of a country's culture to have empathy for people.
I haven't looked through the entire backroom staffs of Leeds and West Brom but their head coaches were both from abroad.
Why should it matter? If you're a good people manager you're a good people manager, regardless of where you come from.

Agreed, I know nothing about these guys they may all have superb people skills for all I know. My point is I would have preferred to have more of a blend of cultures as the playing squad is. Ideally would have liked Chris Cohen as one of the assistant coaches.

A number of clubs looking to bring forward their first round ties by a week - could be played in just 10 days time. Evidence, if it were needed, that they’re really not interested in going too far in the competition. Will use the games either as dress rehearsals for the opening league games or, more likely, to blood youngsters. Wonder if we will be one of them?

The only english are physios Sniffer. All the coaching staff have a max one year in English football. Not saying it is a problem, just when there is talent already here would like to have seen it utilised.

Does anyone else get a bit irritated by Brentford? They seem to Be the media darlings yet are a shite club that just happens to be located within London and a stones throw away from sky head quarters.
Pisses me off!

They’ve earned it. Punching well above their weight.
It’s hard to take when are our own club used to be the media darlings and are now so irrelevant. But there’s no point blaming anyone else. A second tier club who’ve been where we are or lower for two decades isn’t likely to be noticed or considered relevant. The lower leagues are peppered with used-to-be-something has beens like ourselves.

Your first line does it for me. Punching - but seem ‘Entitled’ for premiership. Glad they didn’t do up and hope that they get new stadium syndrome too.
