Well it’s amazing, I’ve been questioning the clubs recruitment from last summer and now looks like everyone suddenly on the bandwagon after defending it, including the likes of Daniel Taylor

I think people wanted to have a look what the players had to offer first. I know I did.

Now that I have had a look you were right but only regarding January.

Our summer recruitment was ok in my opinion.

Sorry meant since summer when we sold Appiah who could’ve had a real chance last season rather than the likes of Mir, and we sold him we didn’t buy a striker.

And the likes of loans not good value and then the rushed signings of Jenkinson that just didn’t make sense.

We simply haven’t got a recruitment policy, an Identity kit of the type of player we need for now and future.

That alone is more than the new owners have spent since arriving.

Consider as well how many we have sold since arrived

I am sure you can work it out and also wonder why we are still so worried about FFP.

It’s good Club is making money on transfers and looks self sufficient

In a bad mood today as coming back from holiday to a bloody needless quarantine. If cash and Worrall go and we get a load of crap in to replace them then I’d be bloody fuming. For too long we have sold our best players. It’s a business - I get that but unless we get top dollar to fund some serious investment in the squad with proven championship quality then I’m not spending another penny on them.

I said yesterday, this next few weeks are pivotal. I think we all accept we have to sell a player a year to stay afloat. This summer if we sell and then don't buy properly, or we change the manager and start from square one, we're likely to be set back by 2 or 3 seasons IMO.

I agree this is a big test for the owners and management team now.
They have done well so far since coming in, turned round a sinking ship. However a good summer is needed if we are going to keep progressing.

On top of that this is the backdrop of a massive disappointment in the way we missed out on promotion. It will either kill us or make us stronger. We only have a few weeks to find out.

This is the least optimistic I have been since the owners came in. I still have faith and will not judge them too early, but action is needed.
