Agree 100% with this - impressed me greatly last season.

So, I learned yesterday that finally Gary Mills will NOT be the new coach of the under 23's.

Let me tell you the story... The club contacted Gary a while back and told him that they would like him to be the new under 23's coach. Gary was delighted and was ready to accept the job. The club then said okay Gary that's great, but first of all we have to put you through the interview process because the job has been advertised but it's just a formality.

Gary attends all the interviews and goes through the whole process as requested by the club.

A few days ago Gary received an EMAIL from the club informing him that he hasn't got the job!

An EMAIL? They didn't even have the deceny to phone him and tell him.

What a way to treat a former European Cup winner and legend of our club.

That's surprising given how the club seems to be run now. And disappointing. Do you know who will get the job?

Have to say I was underwhelmed when I heard that Mills was earmarked for the job - but clearly, if this is true, it reeks more of Fawaz than Marinakis.
Just hope this signals a more qualified guy coming in.

Of course it's true TPL, I don't make s**t up.

I don't know who got the job, it might be a bloke called Bennett but I am not sure who he is and if he got the job.

Really disappointed how Gary was treated, he has now started working on a building site.

If i’m honest I’m not really sure how qualified Gary was for the job. However we should definitely treat all alumni better than this, whether it’s Gary or Eugene Dadi.

Disappointing to hear of a Forest Legend being treated like that.

The new owners have been great so far but theres still one or two things they can improve on.

There was an issue with some season ticket holders losing their seats and now this news about Gary, still work to be done.

May have worded wrongly Sniff - certainly not doubting your word.

Zach Clough and Jamie Ward both start for #nffc's U23s at #QPR today.

Saw this on Twitter:
Looks like Jimmy Gilligan is back at #nffc as U23 Head Coach.

It would appear that Jimmy Gilligan has returned as U23's Head Coach. His name is on the team sheet as such for the QPR game.

Vellios doesn't appear to be in that squad at all. It'd be nice to think that it's because he's close to an exit.

That's that all cleared up then, Jimmy Gilligan got the job. Good luck to him.
