We have been fairly crap for a long while now.

January let us down. Its very hard to watch this football every game is a struggle.

Sounds dramatic but if dyche and ian woan  became available I would go for them in an instant. Our style of play is brutally negative. It's our best season in years but we have shot ourselves in the foot so many times its utterly frustrating . We S**t ourselves constantly.

Dyche could surely do better than Forest? Obviously would be a great appointment. Our style would also remain brutally negative under Dyche too. Sabri does appear to have given marinakis a choice now, whereas a few weeks ago you'd have said it was safe he'd be here for the forseeable future

Himself and woan would love to be here someday. I know that much. Woan still lives near enough to the ground.

We have 4 more points than last season. Not exactly massive strides. Between clough and carvalho thats 16million pound worth of talent not even making the squad.

All these late goals are happening because we are too negative.

Today was awful and I was fuming. We could have rested the whole lot on Wednesday. Perhaps though this may wake them up a bit. All season on 1 game. Don’t throw this one forest!

The last thing we need is another manager Jock. Weve been there and done that. We need an upgrafe in players, not manager. 

Grabban has pit such a shift in this season its unreal. And Ameobi has been a lucky suprise. Without those two we're a midtable side. Lolley has been hot and cold. Carvalho's a no show. Weve nothing else attacking wise. Its no wonder we set up defensively.

Yeah I think top 6 is an overachievement with this squad. On the other hand though you wonder where we'd have finished last year if grabban had stayed fit all year like this season. Has made a huge difference. I think peak Karanka was better than peak Lamouchi. 

Sabri has done well with the defence though tbf to him.

Spot on, if you keep defending one goal leads you will concede some of the time. Inability to get that 2 or 3 goal lead has been a big issue this year

4 since the resumption after the lockdown in just 8 games - costing us 4 points - is just crazy.

I wonder - if we were to be guaranteed the retention of our first choice X1 ( with the likely departure of Carvalho ) would folks be more relaxed about going again in this league next season? Highly unlikely I know - but if this was the case ( with 2 or 3 significant signings ) I would sign up now.

I worry about our prospects if we did go up but - as someone said a few days ago - there’s no guarantee that we’ll get another chance anytime soon.

For me the injury time goals is just a manifestation of the fact we're always hanging on to one goal leads. Although it has been a lot recently, we just seem to sit back too early and give up attacking. Sadly did that from kick off today!

Hmm. I was all for resting players to grind out a point at Preston, but this was one for full strength to guarantee our spot and then rest them on Wednesday. No Cash or Lolley? That's a bold decision, but I don't know the status of their injuries in fairness.

Will be interested to hear what Sabri has to say before I jump to conclusions.

Ouch. Haven't seen it but heard him sound dejected. I didn't catch it all cos ifollow was cutting out. Did he say he was picking his strongest side when asked? 

There is not picking some of the players - obviously there were people with knocks, so probably he could have risked one or two but decided not to - and there is the change in formation. I think it was a double whammy.

On the change in formation is he assuming too much of them? Assuming they'll do what they should do, what they were told to do to fit into a plan, but its not what they're used to. Often best to not change too many things, maybe that's a lesson. He's learning too.

We can improve together. I'm not getting the pitchfork out yet.

Burnley are dreadful to watch*. Did you see them against 9 men yesterday? It was painful. Dyche gets results, but he ain't easy on the eye. I wouldn't swap, I give the current fella the precious commodity of time, and another transfer window if we don't go up.

That's great, but what is the likelihood of him repeating it? And he probably wouldn't come here. And life is about the journey and Burnley are dreadful to watch.

And if we were in the bottom half after 15 games, would he be gone too? Sabri was lauded, popular. And now it's name the next guy. We need to support Sabri.
