Full story on the Fryatt thing here:

It's interesting reading and it doesn't reflect well on the club, if even half of what he's said is true.

Given the malaise around the club at the time it wouldn't be a surprise if it were true.

Don't remember Chrissy Cohen having any problems with our medical team.

Injuries happen in sport, some get over their injuries some don't,
Better players than him have had to retire through injuries,
He is just trying to milk more money out of the club.

Without knowing too many facts at this stage I am agreeing with you Joe.

Go and get a job Matty there are plenty out there. Also Matty you might get counter sued.

Plus a word of warning, you don't want to try and take on Mr. Marinakis.

Good Luck Matty!

so he had no pain whatsoever when he signed, or did he forget to mention that bit?

He had injury problems at every club he was at.

He was a biscuit when we signed him.

Someone on Twitter asked people to name statues which actually enhance their surroundings.

Brian Clough trends not long after.

Surely Fryatt would be advised against that , we all know the club was a mess but that was a different time, isn’t the club trading under a new name now, I would have thought it was the previous owner he should be taking to court, not that I know anything about legalities.

Phew,  thank goodness for that SR thought I was going to have to chain myself to it.

You would assume that player contracts contain something along the lines of you play at your own risk and mitigating liability of the club. But then again this was the Fawaz era, the contract was probably written on a post it note.
However he was operated on 3 times at the clubs expense. He first felt pain in November, they tried to treat it medically as would be expected, surgery is normally done after that has failed and happened in May, 6 months later which sounds about right.

Sorry for him but injuries happen and careers end early. That isnt Forests fault.

As I said on Bellend thread, Achilles Tendonitis is painful and shouldn't be treated with pain killers. I hope it isn't the case, but I wouldn't be surprised to see this go against us. Symptomatic of the club at that time really though isn't it?
