You wouldn't have been disappointed, it didn't last long but it was a great time to be a red.

Bit before my time this one but is it Ian Moore, Henry Newton, Joe Baker and Terry Hennessy?

Bit before my time too Sniff, but I'd say that was a good shout mate!

Yes, they are the correct players, anybody know who the fella is in the white strip? My guess would be Peter Lorimer of Leeds, but not 100% sure

I think it's against Manchester United and that it's George Best.

Was it too early to be Leeds and Peter Lorimer?

Sammy Chapman, Terry Hennesy, Peter 'Tank' Hindley and John Winfield.

All correct and none of those took any prisoners. When Sammy Chapman headed the ball clear it generally reached the half way line!

Can’t think of Sammy without it evoking fond memories of the trip to Craven Cottage in 1967 for the final game of the season.
The groans on the terraces when the team was announced pre match with Sammy playing centre forward - and the delirium when he scored twice in a 3-2 win.
Great days.

In those days all defenders were six foot plus and well built to kick the S**t out of the opposition, you could not pay football on the ground unless you were skilful like ISM
