Reverse psychology- we'll lose 4-0
Imagine if Warburton has been saying that in training all week
Pressure is on them to beat us !!
Got a sneaky feeling we'll take 3 points this weekend.
Have you started drinking already?
Haha not yet. I just think although this Forest team are up there, they are prone to losing stupidly to teams below them at home. Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday to name a couple.
I agree. I think we can win this. Wish I was going but given the aways I have been to this season are Bristol, Fulham, Brentford and Huddersfied the team will be better off without me I think!.
We never win at Forest!
We won there last time, but see 3-1 defeat
Where is everyone drinking before the game?
Some pub about 600yds from station last year. Given we won I feel I ought to go there again but I can't remember the name. Think it was a sort of play on words name involving a cat????
You could pick any score between 4-0 to us and 4-0 to them and I wouldn't argue.
Normal service will be resumed in Nottingham, but I hope not and now the hoodoo's been broken we can turn them over again
1138 tickets sold apparently so far
If we are well organised, I feel that at least a point is on the way..
won't go to nottingham been their 3 times , got nicked that night in london , 2nd time got nicked their at night and 3rd time had to stay up their for court in the morning the place is a jinx for me
Was that in the 80s ? It was always lively back then with Forest home and away .
More to follow later in the week......

Forest v QPR
Match Day early morning Comments.....
Play off team at home to struggling team, home win banker surely, right?,not in this league, look at Fulham at home to Barnsley last weekend as an example .
wouldnt be surprised if we won 0-1
In this league, you can very quickly be drawn into a relegation fight and I’m not saying that negatively, that’s just the fact of it. If you get caught for four or five games then you can be in trouble.
“Likewise, if you win four or five in a row, you can find yourselves pushing for the play-offs. All we can concentrate on is QPR and the next game and that is Forest right now
If you are looking for somewhere to drink prior to this weekend’s game, there are a variety of pubs close to the City Ground but only one regularly welcomes away supporters, which is the Broken Wheelbarrow pub. This is located at Notts County FC’s Meadow Lane Stadium.
It is less than a 10-minute walk from the City Ground and offers all pints at the price of £4. Otherwise, it is suggested to head to the City Centre to find an away-friendly place to drink.
I think this fixture should be referred to as BFG day. From now on!
As my avatar attests to
Table booked in Hooters for us
I live in Nottingham and go to Forest regularly. Hugill will have a tough game against their CBs as a loan striker. They are arguably Forest's best players along with the GK Brice Samba. They're well organised in defence but have to say I find it hard to believe at times they are where they are in the league. Joe Lolley has come in to some real form in the last month and for me the game will depend on Bright Vs him. Whoever, turns up out of those two will influence the outcome massively. Lolley is an old fashioned winger, drives at defenders from deep and plays inverted. Always coming in from the right on to his left. It's a bit of a mismatch on their right and our left as if Eze plays he will need to work very hard defensively against Lolley and Cash. Forest will only play Grabban up top- however if we pass it to feet from the back, he will have a field day. Excellent presser of the ball and works his socks off every week. Honestly, if we can move the ball quickly and counteract their threat on the right, we can win this game.
Hope I'm wrong but can't see us winning today. I hope MW doesn't tinker with the team, stick with a winning line up.
I think 3-0 Forest and we'll roll onto victory in our next games!

Comments.....
After last week's epic comeback I feel we are almost safe and nothing is expected from this match, all the pressure is on Forest, I just want us to have a go at these guys and we'll see what happens!
We still need to look for points in unexpected places.
Over 1400 travelling Rs.
Ben Watson seems like he has been around for decades!
Good pressing early on by Rangers
How do players at this level not know how do execute a simple throw in?
1-0 Forest
Cast iron defence....
Ffs that didn't take long.
Ball was moving when corner was taken. No goal thank f##k 0-0
All Forest atm, our passing from the back has been poor!
This is hard to watch.
Sometimes you just have a plan b it’s so windy route 1 maybe a better option
No shots no corners so far.
It's all forest. Any luck we will nick one
We certainly didn’t have much of the ball, one half chance but Forest are dominating this!
30 of their 45 league goals have come in the 2nd half of games for Forest this season
Ht 0-0 created nothing they are just a better version of us like to pass ball around at back but not really done a lot bar 1 good kelly save
this is winnable
I don't think we can go another half without conceding.
As I mentioned earlier in the week when discussing formations. Get everyone behind the ball, pack the defence and defensive midfield and play for a 0-0
If we play to score and win it the chances are we'll concede and lose. Park that bus and let's get a useful point.
Teams out for 2nd half.
Doesn't look like any changes for either team.
Manning goes close, Samba saves near post.
Forest go close but it was offside anyway!
Where did 5 minutes of added time come from? Maybe we can get a winner!
A very good point! Well done Rangers!
Fantastic result !
Well done lads, and management.
That is an outstanding point. Warbs is so good!
Yeah that's a tidy result. We never lose at forest...
Amazing point. Never was confident getting anything there.
Second half was much better and didn't expect a single point. Well done to the players!
A point at Forest in front of nearly 30,000 is a great result and back to back clean sheets away from home !
Well this bogey ground thing has been put to bed.
We haven't lost at Forest this decade !
Couple of weeks ago they greeted their Leeds win like promotion was almost secured. Now they're 6 points off second.
I remember them doing the same thing when they drew 1-1 with us in out Championship season, when they thought that was the start of their run to promotion. It wasn't.
Can't stand them.
Well played Warbs!
Early morning Sunday kickoff that game wasn't it? They must have fell right off as I don't remember them being anywhere near us or Norwich come the end of that season.
A lot of their fans have big club syndrome, where they think they have some divine right to be in the Premier League just because they were big 30 years ago. Always think they should roll 'teams like QPR' over, even though we've been in the Premier League three times since them.
I do enjoy seeing them annoyed.
I remember that well. They had a particularly irritating manager. Billy something.
Agreed. Wnkers.
Has also always seemed like there are far more of their fans in the football media than there really ought to be.
Pure Forest. They’ll probably sack that geezer in a month’s time.
"you've been sht since Clough left, you've been sht since Clough left, la la la la"
Reading their forum this morning, and victory was a given and it was simply a matter of how many goals they'd score. it was almost leeds-esque in it's delusion.
If Leeds play Forest in the play-off final, will they both find a way to lose?

About Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest Football Club, often referred to as Forest, is a professional football club based in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England. Since 1898 Forest have played their home matches at the City Ground. They currently compete in the EFL Championship, the second tier of the English football league system.
Forest have won 1 League title, 2 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, 1 FA Charity Shield, 2 European Cups, and 1 UEFA Super Cup. The club has competed in the top two tiers of English football since their admission to the Football League, except for five seasons spent in the third tier. Their most successful period was under the management of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
In Clough's last decade at the club, Forest won the 1989 and 1990 League Cups and were losing finalists in the 1991 FA Cup Final, before relegation from the Premier League in 1993. Upon an immediate return Forest finished third in the Premier League in 1995, before the club suffered relegation again in 1997 and, after a brief return, once more in 1999. Forest have not been back in the Premier League since.
Forest contest the Nottingham derby with city rivals Notts County, however as Forest have predominantly played in higher leagues than their neighbours fixtures between the two clubs have been rare in recent history. As such their main rivalry is with Derby County, and matches between the two clubs are known as the East Midlands derby.
Previous Meeting
We beat Forest in November with Nathaniel Mendez-Laing getting the only goal.

1-1 Forest are solid and on a good run.
Hoping for a bit of a response after the performance at Stoke.
No tomlin no adomah
Big ask, and it gets tougher still saturday with the best footballing side in the championship imo brentford.
City to win. Positive response to yesterday's performance. Taking us to within 3 points of Forest
Fancy Forest 3-1 unfortunately.
We couldn't beat an egg at the moment.
Has to be an easy win for Forest sadly.
These were the sort of games when the chips were down where Warnock would pull a rabbit out of the hat and get a win. He seemed to thrive in adversity. What will Harris conjure up? 1 v 1 draw, at best.
Tomlin has been carrying us with his goals, assists and creativity. I can see us going back to a few weeks ago now, flat.
Cardiff City have won nine of their previous 10 league matches against Nottingham Forest, drawing the other in December 2015.Nottingham Forest have won one of their past 11 away league visits to Cardiff (W1 D3 L7), a 2-0 victory in November 2010.Despite drawing five of their previous six home matches (W1), Cardiff have lost fewer home games than any other Championship side on home soil this season (W8 D7 L1), a 0-1 defeat by Bristol City in November. In the 13 Championship games this season when Nottingham Forest have had the larger share of possession, they have managed just one victory (7.7% - D5 L7), compared to winning 14 of the other 21 matches in which the Reds have surrendered the higher share to their opponents (66.7% - D6 L1).Nottingham Forest have lost on seven on their previous 10 trips to Welsh sides in all competitions (W1 D2), though following their victory at Swansea in September, Reds are looking to win back-to-back games in Wales

When opposition fans aren't confident, Forest usually gift the 3 points to 'fill in blank' side. I'll be pleasantly surprised and overjoyed if Forest stuff Cardiff.
Now there was an ACM for this league.
Wages would have been too high though.
I think he engineered the goal the last time Forest and Cardiff met..?
Watson, Colback and Tomlin. They really helped Aitor arrest the slide when they were brought in.

Well, if Forest don't win there's always Hooters.
I'll be impressed if Forest can beat an egg without Sow.
