Who won the poll? I'll wait...

There's not a "don't know" option. "Demote" is in favour of seeing the current team step down in some form, & relinquish responsibility in some way.

Either way, the only vote which will matter would be EM's anyway. It's really down to him whether he wants to be successful, or keep flushing his money down the drain with those currently in charge of recruitment.

I just hope it doesn't strip us bare like Fawaz did. So far we've sold 15m in EM's first season, 7m his second, 11m this season - ALL players inherited by EM. Not ONE has been bought to the club by him.

We can only go on operating that way for so long until we come unstuck. We simply have to start signing better players. Else all we're doing is producing quality from the academy, to then flush it all away on signings like Carvalho, Soudani, Jenks, Da Costa etc.

Christ. Not this again.

Alf & Widdow. We get it. We heard you the first time.

I like what Jasper Scarrott said. If it bothers you so much then take it up with the club directly.

Contact Marinakis and tell him, or tell the recruitment team to their faces. You will see them if you pop down to the CG.

Haha - of course i go down to the City Ground. Bit ironic coming from you if i am being honest.

And be happy to tell the recruitment to their faces, but in meantime, thats what forums are for. As for Marnakis, any email or number i would happily have a chat with him especially as he rarely visits the City Ground

Lets hope we can get back on track away from home in Cardiff - not going to that but will watch it on Sky.

Delete the thread if it's that much of a bother Sniff. S'only here for healthy debate. If that's not what you perceive it to be attracting then just whip it off the forum.

Each week the Jan recruits will get highlighted in some way as it was pivitol point in our recent history where we sat 3rd & had an opportunity to leapfrog a floundering Leeds & co. Personally I think talk of that window's better constrained to one thread, but if you don't feel that's the case fair play.

Look I don’t take any pleasure in being right and I do hope those new players buck their ideas up and prove me wrong

Nothing more than healthy debate.
Fans are entitled to opinions.
Let’s not silence the ‘doubters’ in favour of ‘happy clappers’ ( I exaggerate to make a point but you get my drift ).
We all want the same thing.
Most of us - whether we are supportive or otherwise of transfer policy or some other issue of the day - still support the club by paying at the gate & getting behind the team.
That does not mean we cannot question issues if we believe that to be appropriate on forums such as this.

totally agree TPL - we just need to make sure we dont go over board on self righteous behaviours and ego and hopefully we haven't. I raised my concerns a whle back and left it at that not going to stop me turning up and supporting the club but I just hope lessons have been learned.

You really should try and change that type of attitude Widdow. It doesn't help.

Polls don’t really work when the same people are voting under differ user accounts though. As said on another thread I do believe some posters have more than on or two.

i would say that this jasper account is a dual and back up to another poster.

well that’s just the impression I get.
