I suspect we are in a bidding war now whereas perhaps before we had a clearer run at it.

Well Byrom has been omitted from West Ham squad for today’s game.

From what I am told it is still looking good for us

Think the time this is taking is because both Loan and perm deals are on table

West Ham also have a game at Barnet today (besides Ipswich).

Byrom is playing.

Just seen the teamsheet for that Barnet game Sniffer, Byram's not in that squad either.

I think he is mate, there was apparently a late change, I'll try and find the link.

A few changes to the West Ham side - Sam Byram is playing and wearing 2, Ben Johnson is number 3, Anthony Scully is starting as number 7 and Oladapo Afolayan does not feature

Ah didn't see that. He wasn't on the original teamsheet.

Still think this is going to happen. Just no idea when. Possibly not helped by West Ham missing out on Alfie Mawson (who's going to Fulham). Still confident though.

Me too, although we are also interested in a French right back. I can't remember his name now, I think he plays for Lille.

I posted it in the tranfer thread before it was accidentally deleted but it seemed to go under the radar.

Kevin Malcuit was the name, but there are Premier League and Serie A clubs after him too, so that could be unlikely.

Ironically West Ham are one of the other teams linked to him.
