Agreed Duncan. My cynicism about winning that award apart, what does this bloke need to do more to get a new contract?
We have a chance of promotion this season but I think most of us would agree it remains an outside chance. Next season, for the first time in a decade if we start with an established manager who knows the squad and has worked and improved over the summer too, then I genuinely believe we will do it. But we have to make sure Sabri is still here first.

Since season 2004/05 - of 21 championship managers to get 2 or more manager of the month awards:
17 promoted.
Other 4 lost in play offs.
Doesn’t sound so bad!

So only one manager has lost having won the award in the previous game?
Perhaps not the hoodoo that it’s made out to be.

Surely people don't beleive in this cursed rubbish?
Anyway we have already lost one game in February and that was before Lamouchi even won the award.
Please lets put it to bed.

I think it says a lot about the current Coach that he received the award 'as a team.'

I assume that was Kominakis in the stand last night? Definitely not Marinakis as captioned by Sky. Whichever I hope he has a meeting with SL arranged for 9am Monday to discuss a new contract.
On another note Ive just worked out the “Until Sabri I was never happy banner” , its the lyrics to Sally Cinnamon if any of you are struggling too.

As I believe ThecStone Rose's to be the best bank to walk the planet, I clocked it straight away and just knew we were in for a great evening. Those of us of a certain age remember how good we were around that time. When away games were often followed by a great night out in some Northern Sh1t hole giving it the big one with a backing track of bands like The Stone Rose's, Charlatans, Inspiral Carpets, Northside, Happy Mondays etc... getting off your face celebrating another 3 points. Ah Happy Daze.....

It was prefixed by the Lemon, which I thought would give it away, albeit in French national colours.
Been singing it all morning!
